Lilahs Townwide Christmas Craft Fair And Rummage Sale 241215
In the chilling night of Deadwood Street adjacent to Badwater Park, amidst the backdrop of an overcast sky and a waning gibbous moon, the town's Christmas Craft Fair and Rummage Sale unfolds. Organized by Lilah, this gathering morphs into more than just a place for transactions; it becomes a site for communal exchange and unexpected confessions. The fair, though smaller in scale with nervous sellers and buyers due to the weather and perhaps other unspoken worries, sees Lilah dismissing her own anxieties as unfounded after interacting with attendees like William, whom she reassures of his helpfulness, and Alexi, who reflects on the decent turnout. These exchanges underline the resilience of community spirit against the backdrop of physical and emotional coldness.
However, the quaint gathering takes a macabre turn as Lilian recounts the eerie happenings from the previous day, weaving tales of wolf sightings, a horrifying discovery of a deceased shop owner, and a blood-soaked figure named Roger, missing an eye and a leg, yet worryingly armed and armored. This recounting brings about a shadow over the event, with Lilah expressing concern for Roger's well-being amidst her resolve not to "tempt fate", hinting at an undercurrent of danger lurking within the town's quietude. Despite the grave topics, life's continuity is evident in Lilah’s plans, as she talks of organizing a Christmas party before her baby is due, a celebration of life and community amidst the unsettling events. The fair ends not only with the promise of future gatherings but also with Lilah's poignant departure, subtly reminding us of the omnipresence of both joy and sorrow in the tapestry of human experience.

It is night, about 29F(-1C) degrees, and the sky is covered by dark grey stormclouds. There is a waning gibbous moon.
"Probably for the better" William tells Lilian, shaking his head, but eventually giving another greeting nod towards Alexi
"That'd be great," Lilah says to Lilian. "Though I feel like maybe I'm worried for nothing, all things considered. She pauses though, to frown at William and say, "Not really. You're great." But then she's hefting her bulk onto the seat of a pedal bike - no motorcycle for her, no car, no matter how ridiculous and probably flat out stupid that is. "
Alexi nods toward Lilian, "Yep" he offers and he smiles in agreement with her as well. "Not as many sellers, but it was a nice handfull of people! I think people may have been nervous to come but better for me!"

Alexi says "Worried for nothing, until you're not! "
Lilah nods to Alexi.
Lilian says "Yeah I thought it was almost dawn yesterday and nothing would happen"
Lilian says "Then bam dead shop lady..."
Fayad says "I'm not with anyone."
Lilian says "Wolf getting dragged away by animal controll"
Lilian says "And some dude missing a leg and a eye, covered in blood"
Lilian says "In full armor and a spear starts walking around outside the shop"
Lilah says "An eye too? I hope that's not Roger... he's been in so much trouble lately..."
"Oh yes he did call himself Roger..." Lilian nods towards Lilah, "Seemed like he was .. okay except for all the blood covering him at least."
William says "Are the wolves still out?"
Lilian nods at William, "It's a full moon tonight."
William huhs
Lilah winces. "Oh the poor man. The leg was hard enough... an eye too. I'm... just glad he's alive," she mutters quietly, shaking her head. "Anyway... let's not tempt fate." And thus, she starts to pedal off. "Just be safe!"
"All good Lilah. We should definately. Before or after the baby is born. We can hang now if you have time?" Lilian suggests gently as she continues to hang onto Alexi's arm, taking comfort in the skin contact she has with the man.
smiles, "I would not mind! This has been a wonderful evening" Alexi offers.
"I'm honestly beat. Need bed," Lilah admits to Lilian, before she smirks again. "Once upon a time, I was up all night and at class the next day with no worries, but this little one keeps waking me up at night..." She beams at the pair, holding her bag as she turns to depart, but says, "The baby's not due for another month, so let's aim for before. Maybe... I was considering having a little Christmas party once my house is finished. You'd come?" she wonders.
"Sure. I'll definately try." Lilian tells Lilah with a small affectionate smile and a glance down for the bump at her belly, "As long as it's at night time. I'm usually not awake during the day. Them sun allergies." She tells Lilah with a widening tilt at the corner of her lips.
Lilah chuckles softly. "Sounds miserable. There's nothing I like better than a sunny summer day in the water," she teases back at the other girl. "But I suppose you don't have to worry about wrinkles and stretch marks. Give and take!" She waves, still laughing softly to herself as she heads off. "Have a great night you two!"
