Tabithas 2009 Version Of Friday The13th 240914
In a forgotten drive-in movie theatre cloaked by dense pines and illuminated by neon lights from a nearby concession stand, a unique gathering unfolds under a waxing gibbous moon. Tabitha, enthralled by the night's flick, 'Friday the 13th,' engages with her companions—Brian, Chara, and Novel—in a mix of jest and casual banter, proposing that she act out scenes for those who couldn't see. As the night deepens, Novel reappears in a decrepit, barely functional vehicle, inviting Tabitha to abandon the ground for the questionable comfort of its leather seats, an offer she reluctantly accepts. Their evening is peppered with light moments, from playful quips about the quality of the movie to Novel joking about the car being powered by "demon magic."
As the movie rolls on, conversations shift towards more personal insights and supernatural musings, particularly about the nature of the characters on screen, reflecting their own varied experiences with the otherworldly. Tabitha openly shares her thoughts on necromancy and its limits, while Brian and Novel reveal snippets of their recent entanglements with the supernatural world of Haven. The interactions range from lighthearted, with shared gummies and jokes about drug preferences, to a more solemn acknowledgment of their respective journeys in navigating a world where the supernatural becomes an unexpected new normal. Despite initially settling into the dubious comfort of Novel's car, as the night wears on and with the movie concluded, Tabitha decides to walk home—a choice that leads to Brian offering his company for the walk, a gesture of budding camaraderie in the eerie serenity that follows an evening of shared vulnerabilities and laughter. The gathering disbands under the quiet watch of the moon, with promises of contact and faint hopes of adjusting to life in Haven, a town where the line between reality and the supernatural blurs with unnerving ease.

The Haven Drive-In Movie Theatre
Shrouded by a dense cloak of towering pines is the ghostly silhouette of the town's drive-in movie theatre. Weather-beaten and hibernating in an atmosphere of melancholic seclusion, its monumental screen stretches into the silent night. The gravel-speckled ground bears the etched imprints of countless tires and a worn-down timber ticket booth stands defiant against the restless passage of time. When it's dark, warm neon lights come from the nearby concession stand and during quite moments in the movies the faint distant sound of the ocean crashing against the shore can just barely be heard.
It is night, about 75F(23C) degrees, There is a waxing gibbous moon.
Ah well! Tabitha will just emote stuff.
Brian thinks Tabitha should do a one-person acting out of the movie, for those in attendance.
What a shame for people who cant see.... I mean Tabitha is so enthralled with the sight of breasts! The set up of course, is how Jason watched as his mother was beheaded. Right into a karaoke scene of Sister Christian and a sole dude alone, in the dark. In the forest. What ever could go wrong?
Well. He's not just peeing... Tabitha blinks. Then looks around. "Where did Novel go?"
Brian shrugs. "He just jumped on his scooter and took off again."
Chara looks back down the road "He went beep beep and drove off."
If you guys have Max you can watch along with Tabitha
Chara is able to do that
Novel rolls right up in the wretched, smoky vehicle that looks like it's about twenty seconds from falling apart. Where did he even get that? He slowly grinds to a halt next to Tabitha, the visible engine whirring and squealing before finally shuddering to a stop. He leans out the window and pops the lock with a pair of pliers because OF COURSE the proper mechanism is gone. "Hey, there. No need to sit on the fucking ground."
Tabitha glances to the ground, then the 'car', then back to the ground. Like. The ground would probably be better.
Chara looks over to the car staring at it for a while "How is that thing still running..??"
Novel opens the door for Tabitha with a wicked screech. Oh, hey, real leather seats. And they don't even have holes in them! The inside's cleaner than the outside. He leers at Chara. "Demon magic," He states, solemnly. "C'mon, the seats are soft."
Brian looks at the car. "It is? I assumed he just rolled up Flintstone style."
Tabitha giggles at Chara, eyes peeling away from the sex scene. "Wish and a prayer!"
Brian says "I'll stand. That thing might collapse under my weight."
Chara shrugs hopping into a available seat "As long as I dont have to make a deal to use it."
Brian sits with some trepidation, still waiting for the car to bottom out.
Tabitha gets off of the ground and flops down into the front seat, and then she puts her booted feet up onto the dash... or what is there of a dash.
Chara squints at the screen "Oh hey, im pretty sure I know that actor.."
The lesser hot brother of Supernatural is now on the screen, and Tabitha's eyes are glued onto him. "Maybe they will do a two-for and we'll get House of Wax next."
Novel is occupying the front seat. There's enough for all four in the front, if people scrunch in and get REALLY friendly, but Tabitha seems to be laying claim to some space. The leather is soft and comfortable and got that new car smell to them. Let's be honest, he probably stole the seats from another more functional vehicle. The dash is semi-there, electronics. For the most part he just sort of - spreads out in relaxation. And there's a bottom!
It's made of wood. But it's there.
Brian grins. "I liked watching Paris Hilton get killed."
Tabitha looks behind her at Brian and in her best Paris voice, says, "That's hot."
Tabitha turns back to the screen, reaching across to take one of the peach gummies and unwrap it. She stops mid wrap and tosses it behind her at Brian and Chara, whomever gets it first. "Those aren't like.. special gummies are they?"
Chara moves to try and catch it seeing a possible drug her eyes widen in glee
Chara pouts abit as she eats is and Novel then states they aren't special candies "Aw. Was hoping they were like the potions in the Cauldron.. the pink one was a surprise when I first took it.."
"Oh... I like a clear mind." Tabitha remarks to Novel, happily reaching for a gummy, despite that Novel might be lying. Like the weird little demonblooded man that he is. But she, ever the niave, pops a ring into her mouth and starts to suck off the sugar.
Chara says over to Novel "Like.. a super aphrodisiac. I had to spend a while in the shower before I could function.."
Chara looks up at the screen chuckling "That guy is fucking stoned.."
Tabitha mentions to Chara, "I think the writers were too."
Chara nods sagely to Tabitha "The best movies are done when the writers are out of their minds on drugs."
Novel snorts back at Tabitha's words, "Sure, Miss Drug Peddler." He jerks a thumb over his shoulder at Chara behind his shoulder. "Should have just slept with somebody. Like Brian there." Fortunately (unfortunately?) the man didn't lace them with anything. Not even aphrodisiacs. In terms of sweetness, they're pretty mild, too.
Brian says "I play for the wrong team."
Tabitha tsks at Brian. "Its the right team for you." She wiggles her toes in her boots, probably wiggling some wires about.
Chara nods in agreement "I only like girls and really femme folk.."
Brian nods. "That's true. It's the right team for me. I'm all about the boobies, not so much the moobies."
Novel sighs as the blinkers start flashing as someone' feet nudges a wire.
Novel listens and watches with amusement the blinkers start flashing as Tabitha's feet nudges a wire, the light momentarily interfering with the projector.
Tabitha makes an 'o' shape. "Oh. I thought..." She looks behind her and throws another gummy at Brian. "I didn't catch your name... I thought you meant you liked the guys." She pulls her feet off the 'dash' to the wooden floor. Everything creaks and moans under her weight.
Brian grins. "No. I have a girlfriend. And my name is Brian. Brian Miller. Nice to meet you, Tabitha."
"Do you think that Jason was a demonborn when he died, or do you think that its just revenge that twisted him?" Tabitha asks.
Chara chews on her cheek looking to Novel "A wight right..?"
Brian looks thoughtful. "Yeah, something like that. Zombie, wight..." He continues to watch the movie, smiling at the mayhem unfolding.
"That's not really something that I can do," Tabitha says to Chara, Novel and Brian. "I have looked in many books..." She pauses and adds, "Not that I would want to do that to anyone. It seems like an awful existence, and ... well, just look what they need to do in order to survive."
Tabitha didn't think she was being defensive! "I didn't say anyone did." She tilts her head at Novel. "But its not something a necromancer can do." She shakes her head and bites her bottom lip. "No. The eat flesh."
Brian shrugs. "I'm still new to all of this. Two weeks ago, I didn't know the supernatural was anything more than entertainment. I'm learning, and trying to stay alive, as I go. So I'd have to take your word for what they can, can't, will, or won't do."
Novel makes an agreeing noise with Brian. "Yeah, same here. I'm still trying to get my shit sorted - the Scions pried me off the street while I was a homeless maniac and Fayad helped force me back together. Good times."
"Well..." Tabitha says, dragging that word out toward Brian. "Welcome to Haven..."
"Used to?" Tabitha asks Chara, with a lilt of her voice in curious nature. "Why don't you practice anymore? It can be very useful."
Novel chuckles at Tabitha's words as he fires off a few texts, his gaze zeroing in on Brian's discomfort. A smile, faint. "You know Fayad, then?"
Tabitha giggles, "I'm not related to Ghengis Khan. But I do get a little bit Ghengis Khan..." True, but its not where she is going with it. "I'm sure there are still those who are only human, and never fully turn supernatural if they have some bit of Ghengis Khan in them, anyway."
Tabitha leans over to try to peek at whatever is going on with Novel's phone.
"Gross." Tabitha says to Novel. She goes immediately back to watching the movie, finding that far more interesting now.
Novel laughs at Tabitha's response, relaxing with his phone held. "Yeah, yeah, I'm a horrible fucking person."
Tabitha has even moved toward the passenger door and away from Novel.
"Oh I'm sure she'll suck you off nice." Tabitha says to Novel.
Once stated, plainly, to Novel, Tabitha brings her boots back up to the rickey dash to wiggle her toes across the exposed wires. "Nothing."
Chara pulls out a vape pen from her messenger bag looking over to Brian "Want some weed?"
Brian looks over at Chara. "Sure, thanks."
Chara hands over the vape pen looking up to the screen "That is a fucking.. brutal way to die>"
Tabitha looks behind her to Chara and Brian, then twists her torso fully to talk to them. "Sorry..." she says, having spent a lot of time talking to Novel. "You guys good?" She nods to Chara though. "It is... I mean, the movie really is bad, but the kills were pretty good."
Chara gives a nod to Tabitha saying "I'm doing fine.. I like the movie."
Brian shrugs. "I'm still struggling a bit with the whole... well, like you said, 'Welcome to Haven'. It all just seems pretty fucking messed up. I don't even smoke pot, and I just took a big hit off of Chara's vape just because... yeah..." He shrugs again.
Novel finalizes a last text before sliding it away, glancing over at Brian with a lopsided smile. "At least you can't have someone up and murder you."
Tabitha smiles to Brian. "I know it probably doesn't mean anything from someone who has lived here their whole life, but -- it'll get easier. I don't know easier is really the right word for it, but ... common? If you want, you can give me a call sometime to talk about it. I'm at seventy two, eighty six." She looks to the screen where the credits roll. "I think I am going to walk home."
Brian smiles at Tabitha. "Thanks. That's nice of you. I walked here, too. So if you want company, happy to walk with you. Otherwise, I'm going to get on my way, too."
Novel raises a brow at Tabitha. "You sure? I can just drive you back, and -" He gestures vaguely to Brian and Chara. "You two as well if you want."
Chara gives a yawn as she steps out of the car "I have my bike over there."
Tabitha has to wiggle the door a few times in order to attempt to open it, but once it comes free with that creak and moan, she is putting her feet down onto dirt. She peers aside to Novel, and there is a pause. Then she shakes her head. "No, I think I will walk."
Brian shakes his head. "Thanks, Novel. But I'm good to walk. The apartments aren't too far."
Brian says "You all have a good night. This was fun."
Brian slings his backpack over his shoulder and climbs out of the car, waving as he does.
As the movie rolls on, conversations shift towards more personal insights and supernatural musings, particularly about the nature of the characters on screen, reflecting their own varied experiences with the otherworldly.
