Vindictas Thank You Day At The Striptease Nightclub 241129

During a turbulent night at The StripTease Nightclub, Vindicta's vulnerability is exposed in a deeply humiliating way by her boyfriend, Lenny. As the club's vibrant neon lights pulse against the backdrop of patrons lost in the music, Lenny coerces Vindicta to remove her headdress, revealing her albino features and rabbit ears to the crowd. The situation escalates as Lenny crudely dismisses her and flirts with another guest, leaving Vindicta shattered. In her lowest moment, surrounded by music and the chatter of oblivious partygoers, she's left yearning for a different kind of companionship—one that respects and cherishes her. Friends and acquaintances nearby, including Juniper, Ritsuka, and Mamo, express concern and offer their support, highlighting the stark contrast between those who care for Vindicta and Lenny's callousness. As the night unfolds, Vindicta becomes the center of a compassionate circle of friends. Ritsuka, with a gentle and understanding approach, and Novel, displaying a mix of confusion and loyalty, attempt to comfort her. Despite Vindicta's attempts to justify Lenny's actions, her friends see through the veil of manipulation. The night is a poignant reminder of the strength found in true friendship and the toxic chains of certain relationships. As Vindicta's sobs fill the air, a decision hangs in the balance: continue under Lenny's shadow or embrace the warmth offered by genuine connections. Meanwhile, others in the club, like Chelsea and Lilly, carry on, untouched by the drama but offering a semblance of normalcy in a night filled with emotional upheaval.

    In The StripTease: Nightclub
Patrons here find themselves in a sleek, black-walled room where vibrant neon lights illuminate every corner. The atmosphere is alive with the deep, thumping bass of music that echoes through the space, drawing the eye toward the glossy black dance floor at its center. The walls, ceiling, and floor are lined with neon pink LED strips that pulse in rhythm with the music, casting a futuristic glow that bathes the entire room.

The bar itself is a centerpiece, glowing from underneath with neon green light, contrasting against the black, glossy counter where rows of liquor bottles gleam under the colored lighting. Neon signs hang above the bar, flashing cheeky phrases and provocative silhouettes in bright magenta red. The seating around the room, in cozy black leather booths, is accented with the same bold magenta, providing intimate spaces where guests can relax between songs. High-top tables glow softly from beneath with green light, while the low-profile booths offer a private retreat from the vibrant energy of the dance floor.

Speaking of the dance floor, rotating spotlights and lasers flash in green and red above it, adding layers of movement and color to the space. Disco balls send reflections bouncing around the room, enhancing the club's hypnotic vibe. Many patrons lose themselves in the music as they dance across the reflective black surface, where embedded LED strips trace geometric patterns beneath their feet. Along one wall, a neon-lit photo area invites guests to capture the wild energy of the night, complete with playful backdrops and glowing imagery.

    It is about 55F(12C) degrees.

"Can call Vin or Vinny if want," Vindicta tells Juniper with a glowing smile on her face, reaching across the table in attempt to grab Emmelline by the wrist and maybe, if able, lead her over towards the dancefloor. "Am, yes! Thank You Day party!" she informs Juniper with a firm nod of her head, weaving amidst writhing bodies to approach the athletic-looking blonde babe. "Cover charge first! Price is: say one think June is thankful for tonight!" Such an expensive cost- but when Emmelline is slipping towards the door, the albino pouts somewhat. "Okay... Have good rest of night, Emmelline! Give boyfriend lots of kisses!"

"The same, yeah- Was going to give it to him personally, figured it was important, but he mentioned going off town, so..." William adds with a shrug, eating some of the turkey as he watches Emmelline sliding out through the door, giving a bit of a wave as he eats, before approaching the booths again, if only to sit down.

"Cover charge seems fair for some of my favourite foods," Juniper allows Vindicta with another smile as she taps a piece of cornbread taken from the pan against her mouth. "I have a lot of things I'm thankful for. A lot. Tonight I'm thankful for chosen family. The ones near and far." She nods as if decisively at that. "And thankful for this cornbread. And cornbread in general." There's a grin following that as she pops more into her mouth. Glancing at William while still chomping she nods some more. "Sardinia," she says, with her mouth a little bit full of crumbly bits. "I couldn't join unfortunately. It'll be past my dusty ass's bedtime."

has grown quiet as he grows bored. He seems like he might just hang out and be a bit of wallflower by the table for the night till he decides to head home. But his eyes drift over the booth and Vindicta there and a mischievous look comes to his eye just moments before he starts to head closer to the booth, "Vindicta." he says, firmly and clearly. Really stressing that name.

"Oh, Italy... Very nice" William says with a nod to Juniper "Didn't really ask much, I was just asked to be the delivery guy" There's another shrug, and maybe a glance at the approaching Lenny, but not much comment towards him or Vindicta

listens to Juniper's list of thanks, smiling warmly at its nature and seeming to find absolutely nothing wrong with it. "Very good things to thank for, yes! Bianchini also-" then there's a pause when Lenny says her name, those pallid pink eyes drifting from the woman she converses with and on over to the approaching greasy goon. She gives him a fainter but still present smile, asking sweetly: "Yes, Lenny?" with a curious tilt of her head. She shoots out two new messages on her phone in between, then puts it back into a pocket on her sweater dress.

"You look good." Lenny says, gazing at Vindicta like she might be the only girl in the room at the moment. Then he smirks as he says, "But that headdress is fuckin' stupid. Take it off." he says in a way that isn't a simple request. It's very much spoken like an order and giving that order seems to make the man amused

takes another bite of her cornbread and observes Lenny openly while chewing. "What if she feels cute in it? Are you the dress-code enforcer?" she wonders of the man, glancing at the much smaller woman in the sweater dress once more.

"Yeah I am." Lenny fires back at Juniper, quickly as if he had that response locked and loaded. He looks over Juniper to check her out..no..inspect her for dress-code enforcement and when he speaks it comes out in his slimy voice, "You pass, though you should lose about ten pounds."

huhs for a moment, standing back up from the booths, unclear if it is natural or just to avoid any splash damage that might end up happening near Lenny. Instead moving closer towards the food once more, going back towards the turkey, giving a slight greeting nod to the two people arriving "Hey"

"Nah, I need my muscles to punch smarms in the face with," Juniper tells Lenny lazily enough, pushing the last bit of her cornbread slice into her mouth with an unaffected lack of grace. "Your cover charge can be being thankful no one's done that to you yet," she suggests with a wink at Vindicta following. "I'll have to be heading back home soon, so I won't be assaulting your eyes much longer. But I just thought I'd come out in any case."

Vindicta preens when Lenny compliments her on her attractiveness, squeezing her arms around her ribcage and twisting her hips from side to side happily. "Thank, Lenny!" she quips joyously, the praise enough for her mind to look beyond his distaste for her headdress- until the man instructs her to take it off. "L-Lenny why..?" she asks fearfully, of all things, fearfully when the command is given. She looks like she might run for a door- any door- once that command is given, but the tiny albino remains frozen in place, and nearly frozen in time as her hands seem to move all on their own, clutching the edges of her wrapped-around headscarf.

Her lower lashes dam them to keep them from trailing down her face, though a singular blink sends them slipping over her faint amount of blush, bubbling temporarily before finding the contour of her jaw and sliding towards her chin. With a burst of snow-white curls that tumble nearly the length down to the floor, the headdress is slipped from Vindicta's head, pocketed, no- clenched in both fists, as amongst those curls something white and furry trembles with a combination of humiliation, fear, and anger.

arrives here together with A brunette with an emotionless expression, and while she looks the place over, she looks a little bit pensive but moves along. "This is the place, Mamo-san." She gestures to Vindicta somewhere in the crowd. "That is Bianchini-san." And then to William "And this is Will-san. Bianchini is with the Sheriff department. Will is just Will."

points to Ritsuka "Bill is preferred"

to the others. "Hello, Bianchini and Bill." Mamo bows down to the others. "My name is Mamo."

winces as if seeing Vindicta without head covering for the first time, but its not the first time. He's acting a part and he goes, "Oh gross, cover up." he forced Vindicta to take off the headrest but now he's shaming her for it and telling her to undo the damage he caused. He shakes his head and says, "Some people have no shame."

There's consideration on Juniper's behalf, watching Lenny and Vindicta with slightly pursed lips before she clicks her tongue and announces. "I think you're cute as fuck," she tells Vindicta before leaning to look for William and giving him a wave. "See you around, Bill. And thanks for the book back, ya? Take care now!"

Ritsuka looks to Lenny and then to Vindicta. "Bianchini is quite pretty. Why does she need to cover up?" She asks, looking a note confused. "What is the occasion to the night out?" She asks, a little lighter, with the corner of her lips turning up into a smaller, more gentle smile. "Is there a marriage party happening for her?" She lightly teases.

A shuddering breath is inhaled, then exhaled, and the moment that Lenny tells Vindicta to put her headdress back on, she does so- even faster than she had taken it off. All those tumultuous white curls are tucked away, but most importantly of all- the albino is quick to hide her rabbit ears once more, shivering all the while and avoiding eye contact with all around her. Juniper's words are absorbed as much as Ritsuka's, but the albino says nothing. Deathly silent as her darkest secret, her deepest shame, is exposed to the party's attendees on little more than Lenny's whim. She choke's back a sob, and yet she does not admonish him.

Lenny gives no answer to Ritsuka on why Vindicta might need to cover up. If thats not self-evident already then he wont explain it. Instead he gives a lazy grin and says, "Alright. I'm out for the night." His actions making a mess for Vindicta and he's not even going to stick around for any of the cleanup. As he moves past Ritsuka he checks her out and says, "Asian girls don't usually have great tits, I'm a fan. You can match me someone on myhaven." he's just rude, forward and walks through the place like he owns it

Ritsuka furrows her brows a little bit, but she doesn't make to make any commentary, and glances to Mamo. She breaks into a touch mischievous smile and tells her, with a light hearted tone "Welcome to Haven-city, Mamo-san. Yes it is a little bit normal. Some people have contact lenses and others have Headbands to give them ears. It can be a little bit normal but most aren't like that."

Chelsea walks in and heads for the bar, taking a seat at one of the stools.

The albino woman's mouth open and closes repeatedly in shock as Lenny humiliates and exposes her only to wander off into the night, her pallid pink eyes wide with humiliation still, and he even rubs salt into the wound by flirting, yet again, with another woman before her eyes. Something seems to break inside of Vindicta in that moment, the turmoil, the pain, the neglect, and she starts to mouth: "Different boyfriend.." several times, louder and louder each time before it reaches a casual speaking volume. "Bian- Bianchini... Bianchini... Want different boyfriend.." she barely manages to murmur, her breathing erratic, just on the cusp of hyperventilation. She doesn't look at Lenny as she says this- in fact, she seems to just stare at nothing with that empty, embarrassed expression. "Bianchini... Bianchini want different boyfriend.."

looks up to Ritsuka. "I see... I'll try to get used to it. It seems livelier than I expected." Mamo takes a look around. "Does seem very stylish here. I like it!"

If Lenny can hear Vindicta, he doesn't react to her desires for a different boyfriend. He's already on his way out after acting like a real asshole

William gives a barely noticeable nod at Chelsea, eyes wandering between the door and Vindicta for a moment, shaking his head, grabbing something more to eat and then heading back to the booths, the reason he left them in the first place now out of the equation

Ritsuka glances to Mamo and then comes on to approach Vindicta. It is slow paced steps, definitely far too quiet here, and she does draw to a stop close to Vindicta. She does not touch or move too close into personal space, but does ask. "Bianchini-san... Are you alright? Do you want to come back to the booths and come and talk for a little bit? I am worried about you after seeing that."

William considers Ritsuka's previous explanation to Mamo before addressing Vindicta, choosing his words carefully "Didn't think it was that bad when you mentioned it before... Nor that he was the one..."

Vindicta is clutching her headdress down hard upon her head when Ritsuka approaches, and William and Mamo comes in tow, a package deal, it seems. "Bianchini.." she says her own name again, like some sort of Pokemon, or a record stuck on repeat. She can't find the words that William and Ritsuka deserve to hear- and she's so bundled up with sorrow and tears that even if she could, she would be unable to utter them. One might wonder what she is thankful for, now, on this night. "Bianchini..."

Glancing to William, Ritsuka makes a soft shake of her head. "No idea who that was, and I do not want to know now." Her lips purse a note and she looks back to Vindicta, a touch worried, and this time, she does make the attempt to reach out for Vindicta and to draw her into her own arms. Perhaps not the most wise idea today, but where does a level of compassion ever start in impassivity? "Bia- talk to us, please? You do not deserve to be treated the way he did."

With a shake of his head, William tells Ritsuka "No, I meant- Nevermind..." He says, leaning back a bit, taking the opposite strategy and leaving some space instead, letting out a sigh

Novel strides right over towards Vindicta, pausing only a moment to give an energetic wave and pick up some food "Fucking - hey, Savannah, Chelsea!" He greets easily before his arm is settling down around Vindicta.

Chelsea gives Novel a warm smile as he enters the Nightclub. "Hi Novel!" She says in greeting.

"Hey Novel," Savannah says to Novel, still texting, but she does look over and wander to the food tables. She checks them out, but her eyes drift over to the others near the booths. She slinks that way, finding a seat not near anyone but just on her own for now, crossing one leg over the other, "Figuring out what I'm doing tonight, coordination and timing is the hardest part."

A hot mess of half-held back tears when Savannah walks in, Vindicta melts easily into Ritsuka's embrace, no longer able to choke back the sobs that she had tried so desperately to keep contained. Her face is pressed heavily into the palms of her hands, concealing the way her normally cherubic features contort into something agonized and God-awful. Novel's approach and addition of arms to the pile comforting her does make the albino relax someone, but it does not make her breakdown lessen enough that it would fall into silence. She hears Ritsuka she does. She nods her head along with the Japanese woman's words. And yet she cannot bring herself to speak, for every time her little mouth opens, another sob bursts forth from it to silence her words.

After a little back and forth on her phone, Savannah looks like she is about to stand up, but spots Vindicta in her current state. She gives some pause, but with several people comforting her already, she worries her lower lip and rises back up now, heading back towards the entrance.

Lilly steps into the club with curiosity. She looks a little out of place. Light steps, she is peering, careful and relatively on guard. Not put off but..well. This isn

Ritsuka reaches around Vindicta, and sometimes words have no place in the world, and silence is a message far heavier and important. The Japanese falls to silence, and one of her hands settles on Vindicta's back while her other touches on the back of Vindicta's head with a light caress. Her own skin, where it is felt, is soft, and there's some melons that can squish softly. And now all the words that she does use are three softly spoken ones "Take all the time you need, Bia. I won't run away. And Novel here, I don't think would either."

Lilly isn't in one of her usual haunts. The vibe also seems a little fighty by the rumors floating about but she settles at the bar.

"So... what the fuck just happened?" Novel says after a heartbeat, patting Vindicta on the back and then taking a step back - looking bemused, but smiling. "Hey, I only run the fuck away when it looks like I might get filled full of fucking holes or tortured horribly. It's only when it's more than that when it's a fucking problem." He moves away from Ritsuka, his arm shifting to not touch hers and then shifting to plop on right into the booth next to Vindicta, possibly sandwiching them.

William glances towards Novel for a moment "Her boyfriend being a real asshole... And going way past the line..."

Chelsea looks over to Lilly as she sits down at the bar, giving her a quick nod in greeting before getting her drink from the bartender.

Lilly waves to Chelsea. Then hums, deciding to place an order at last after wrinkling her nose on the drink prices.

Still unsure of what to say, but slowly regaining her bearings as folks gather around to comfort her and William provides the best explanation that he can, Vindicta decides to speak, though most of her words are choked with sobs. It is mainly to Novel the words are given, since he had missed the incident- "L-L-Lenny," she stammers out helplessly- and thank God for whoever invented waterproof makeup. Though the albino woman wears very little, her tears haven't caused a single bit of it to run or smear. "L-Lenny... Lenny expose Vindi in public at party," she explains, punctuating it with a frantic coughing fit and a few harsh sniffles. "Make.. Make take off head covering! In front of all! Then... The say Vindi disgusting and have no shame. Tell her.. Tell her put it back on, then.. Then Lenny leave..." the petite femme cries out.

Mamo pokes Ritsuka's arm. "Shimomi it's almost time to take our leave. I'll finish up my drink."

Chelsea sets her glass down on the bar, looking back over to Lilly, "It seems like kind of a slow night, huh?"

Mamo says, hesitantly, ""An emergency ride would be really helpful... I hope Bianchi will be okay!""

Lilly smiles at Chelsea and shakes her head. "Ah, no, just after drama I find things get a little subdued. It could pick up." She gestures. "Names Lilly, you?" she asks.

Novel blinks slowly at William's explanation and then glances down to Vindicta and seems to be quite serious - a broad, roughened hand covering his lower face and rubbing his jaw. "Wow, that's pretty fucking weak." He mentions as he drinks all this in, his brow furrowing in thought and consideration. "Why the fuck did he even care about all that shit? Kinda fucking weird. So you gonna kick Lenny out of the house then?" His tone is even and his head tilts to one side in thought, his gaze briefly flicking down to the phone and back up. "Yeah, yeah, we're fucking friends and all. It's why I was invited here."

"Chelsea, nice to meet you." Chelsea replies, picking up her glass and tipping it slightly in Lilly's direction. "I think missed whatever was going on over there."

Lilly nods and shrugs at Chelsea. "S'alright, I find other peoples business is a poor thing to import." She smiles amusedly. "So, what brings you to Haven?" she asks.

Chelsea gives Lilly a nod in agreement. "Not sure really. I moved here a few months back, it's an interesting place."

Lilly blinks twice. Trying to work that answer over in her head. Then, she tilts her head again. "So, do you like, work here? School? Miscelannious mysterious third option?"

Chelsea points her thumb eastward, "I work over at the Starlight Lounge as a bartender." She takes a sip of her drink before setting the glass back down on the bar with a clink. "I've thought about attending school here, but I haven't moved on anything."

Lilly ooohs softly and nods at Chelsea. "Yeah, okay that makes sense. School's alright, was a good place for me to get my shit together."

Chelsea shrugs her shoulders. "I know I've eventually got to find a better job, I've just got to figure out how to get enrolled."

Lilly giggles and shakes her head. "It's not that hard!" she insists

"Not know," Vindicta murmurs in response to Novel, explaining: "... Everything Lenny say and do only for Vindi's own good. Never do anything evil..." Her voice trails, and her eyes slip closed as she struggles to rationalize her boyfriend's irrational behavior- something is definitely wrong here. It's almost like the femme is incapable of finding fault in any of her greasy lover's actions, no matter how horrid they might be. "Novel is.. Novel is.. Vindi's good friend. Maybe best friend, sometime," the albino confesses quietly to Ritsuka, giving the woman a reassuring smile. "Go on.. Take Mamo home. Bianchini be okay, honest." It's a weak reassurance, but a reassurance nonetheless.

Chelsea pushes her empty glass away from her, "I feel like it's one of those things where the hard part is actually getting up to go do it."

Lilly humms and shrugs, then reaches out to offer her hand to Chelsea.

Chelsea takes Lilly's hand, cocking an eyebrow.

Lilly moves to pull her from the bar, walking outside.

Lilly says "No time like the present!"

William nods his head at what Ritsuka said before leaving, giving a look between Novel and Vindicta "Kind of in line with what I thought... But the new girl over there is not aware... I am not an expert on removing any of those, but it sounds like there's one in place most definitely"

"I think she just assumed-" William shakes his head after a moment, cutting his sentence short and letting out a sigh "In any case, she'll try to fix it as soon as she's free again" He says with a dismissive gesture towards the door, speaking of the woman that had left not so long ago

Novel says "Eh, it depends. You do shit and things happen and move on and don't focus too fucking hard. Not the first time I've dealt with this kinda shit.
    "

William shrugs a little bit "I mean about... Yeah, no, you're probably right... Still overthinking everything"

Novel says "Yep. Moment to moment and the weird shit. Tell Elora if she's got an issue we can just fucking punch it out. Or I'll go and punch her. Whatever."
