Caelias Odd Encounter Sr Jayanth 240126
In the eerie quiet of Mariner's Highway beside Moore Woods, Caelia encounters a ghostly apparition on a frigid night. This blonde, blue-eyed specter pleads for help, lamenting her destroyed home and missing child's doll—a treasured item she desires to see once more before resting in peace. Despite her fear, Caelia courageously agrees to help the troubled spirit. The ghost guides her to a burnt-out house ruin, directing her to find the doll inside. There Caelia searches among the charred remnants of this once home, while the specter ominously warns her of the cold embrace of death should she fail like many before her.
With determination and a touch of fear, Caelia persists in her search until she uncovers a half-burnt doll, just as described by the restless wraith. Presenting the found object to the ghost, Caelia watches as the figure acknowledges with a sorrowful nod. A sense of peace now washes over the spectral woman as she finally finds solace in her treasured memories. With gratitude, the spirit disappears into the unknown, leaving Caelia alone with a relieved smile amidst the remains of the past, having delivered the ghost to her eternal rest and narrowly eschewing a grim fate of her own.

On a Lonely Stretch of Mariner's Highway Cutting through Moore Woods
Stretching east and west is this one long and dusty highway road. The
asphalt of the pavement has seen a better day; it's patched and worn,
crumbling at the edges of its shoulders where an abundance of wild grasses
takes over. They slump into low ditches at the sides where water is meant
to pool, and beyond that are weak fences and forested property to the south,
as well as rolling hills to the north.
It is night, about -10F(-23C) degrees, and the sky is covered by dark grey stormclouds. There is a waning gibbous moon.
Caelia is laying on her bed in the room she's currently renting, fiddling with her phone with a relaxed smile on her face.
Without warning, A low wind starts to blow in the room. The wind starts to pick up, and Caelia feels a strange urge to get up and leave the room.
Caelia immediately vacates the room closing the door behind her. Curious to the weird feeling, she walks out of the hotel, and walks in a fast pace, not minding the cold surroundings. She finds herself standing in Tranquil Lane and Mariner's Highway since she just walks to where her feet takes her, following the strange feeling. She looks around, observing and taking mental notes of her surroundings.
Caelia feels a cold ice-cold chill down the back of her neck. A feeling of someone watching her prickles down her spin.
Caelia gglances behind her bravely, but the feeling of that uneasiness never left her. Her heart hammering in her chest, she asks, "Who's there?" In a low whisper, fiddling her gloved hand with shallow breaths.
Amidst all the natural sounds of the woods and the passing trolley, there is a low sound, like a deep keening moan. The sound is drawn out for a few seconds before fading into the sounds of the wildlife.
Caelia shivering with cold mix with her uneasiness, someone continues too glance around, and walking around this time, looking for that distinct moan she heard. "Who's there?" She asks one moore time.

Shimmering in an etherial silver glow, the figure of a tall blond haired blue eyed girl appears in front of Caelia, floating in mid air. The apperation speaks in a low haunting tone: "Please, help me. Please, help me!." Does she want to stick around to help? Will she talk to the apperation?
Caelia bravely nods, facing the ghost aparation. "I'm scared of you." She admits. "But I want to help you also. Is there anything I can do to help?" She asks, shivering a little.
"Just down this street I had my house." the figure says in a low raspy tone. "Now it is all gone. Burned to the ground and overtaken by nature. I had a child, a young lovely girl and now she is gone as well. My baby girl Lydia, she had a dall. I want to see it, to see it and finally rest. Can you find it for me?"
Will you help me find the doll? A clue, perhaps/ Caelia asks.
"Come" the figure says turning to float down the street towards a dilapidated rburned out ruin. "Inside, inside you will find what you are looking for." the figure says floating through the solid wall and disappearing.
Caelia follows the ghostly figure to the burnt down house. She scans her surroundings, and found a burnt down furnitures, the walls are blackened due to the burns and the house is half ruined. She walks around, the floor creaking in her every step. "Do you knoow how the doll looks like? She asks, looking under a burnt down sofa"
"It was blue in colour and had a white silk ribbon tied around it's neck." the figure responds, from right behind Caelia.
Caelia nods, scanning each burnt down furnitures one by one. She found many burnt down dolls aroound, but this isn't the doll she was looking for.
"No dall?" the figures, the cold chill of it's breath feeling like the breath of death. "You are not able to find it then?" the woman inquires as she reaches one pale hand towards Caelia.
Caelia shivers a little, scared to face the ghostly figure. "Let me find it, don't lose hope." She smiles, continuing the scan. She mooves on from one furniture too the other, not giving up the search
"Lose hope?" The girl asks, a hallow chuckle escaping her lips. "I have given up that ghost long ago, little child. If you prove to be as useless as the hundreds of those that came before you, you will share their fate and fall into an eternal sleep. You too shall know and feel the cold embrace of death."
Caelia a chuckle escapes her lips, but she's scared, obviously scared. She continues the search, and finally finding a half burnt doll fitting to the ghost's description of the doll she is looking for under the also half burnt bed. She races a gloved hand holding the doll towards the ghost's direction. "IS this the one you are looking for?" She asks.

Floating forward eagerly, the ghost glances at the dall in Caelia's hand. Letting out a mournful sigh, she raises her head and gives one sad nod. "Thank you little one, thank you for finding what my baby loved so, so much. There are so many memories tied to this, I had feared that it was lost in the fire." Pausing for a moment a calm peaceful look appears on her features, making the pale ghostly face almost beautiful. "I can finally rest and find peace and my family. Thank you." WIth those last words, the appration vanishes with a soft sound of an escaping breath.
Caelia sighs in relief, thoughts of her death occupying her there for a second as she finally gave the ghost her eternal rest. "I'm glad to help, but please don't scare me like that again, its not fun." She says with a relieved smile.
