Candys Odd Encounter Sr Lenny 241128

Candy's serene shopping trip in Beaversdam takes a nightmarish turn when she's inexplicably abducted and wakes up in a grimy, dimly lit cell. Unaware of her captors' intentions, she finds herself in a dire situation, far removed from the mundane concerns of a tourist. Her confusion and helplessness are compounded by the arrival of a large, irate man who mistakenly identifies her as someone else's "property" due to a mix-up. Despite her attempts to reason with him, showcasing the differences between herself and the person he seeks, she's met with hostility and the chilling prospect of being "erased." As the tension escalates, Candy's pleas for freedom seem to momentarily sway her captor, revealing a sliver of hope amidst the dread.

However, this hope is quickly dashed as her captor decides against releasing her, opting instead to use a sinister syringe on her. Candy's spirited resistance ultimately proves futile against the man's strength and determination. The encounter concludes with Candy being injected with a substance that induces amnesia and leads to her waking up in the Antlers, confused and unaware of the harrowing ordeal she just underwent. The peculiar conclusion leaves her questioning the reality of her experience, attributing the unsettling memories to a mere nightmare, despite the tangible evidence of her struggle. This harrowing episode marks a disturbing encounter in Candy's journey, enveloped in mystery and the unsettling underbelly of Haven.

In Beaversdam
The interior of the building is draped lavishly in clothing of all sorts
and rotary racks pepper the bulk of the available space like multicolored
trees. The walls here are obscured with wood paneling from which hangs can
be attached to display individual items and the floor is likewise hardwood.

A footbridge leads from the wood of rotary clothing racks to this clutter of
mostly pre-owned consumer electronics. Natural hued rattan and thatched
wood is used to decorate the shopping area.

It is afternoon, about 53F(11C) degrees, and there are a few dark grey stormclouds in the sky.

(Your target is abducted in their sleep, waking up alone in a locked room. They need to either escape or draw attention to them so their allies can come and provide assistance.

Newcomers to Haven are not unusual, tourist visit, people come for work. People who are aware will show up to learn more about their recently discovered powers. But for Candy, she's blissfully unaware. As she goes through the shelves to do her shopping, someone brushes past her, she may feel a brief prick on her arm. But even as she tries to see who might've poked her things become rapidly fuzzy..and then black.

An indeterminate amount of time later Candy stirs awake, she's alone, in a dark cell lit by only a single bulb over head. It's probably the worst nightmare of any lone girl tourist. To be kidnapped, but there is no other explanation as to where she is.

Candy flutters her eyelashes, drawn from slumber by the stark light of the bulb above her. She starts to rouse slowly, then all at once as she jerks up to sit on the grubby mattress beneath her. Those unwitting, baby blue eyes blink a few times before she rubs at them with the back of her hand, the grogginess of sleep flooding her with confusion. Lifting her eyes, the strange sight of the cell around sees confusion gradually morph to panic. Swallowing, she looks around the cell, taking stock of her situation before with a quiet voice she calls, "H..hello? Is there.. someone there?"

Going unanswered Candy is left in near silence, there is only the subtle whirring of a cheap central air system that keeps the building, unknowingly big, or small that keeps things a rather chilly temperature. Just slightly uncomfortable for Candy. While looking around Candy would see that the cell looks rather untouched for quite some time, dust coats most surfaces, except for where she was dragged in and an dropped on the mattress. The toilet is unused. Seeing as Candy is neglected, there may be plenty of time to look around and investigate, Or just lots of time to panic and freak out.

Candy drags herself up from the mattress, catching the heel of her Mary Janes in a tear in the fabric and tripping, saving herself with a hand on the damp, concrete wall. The coldness of the stone shocks her further, finding her footing quickly as she drags back her hand, "Damn. Damn, what.. where am I?" She flounders for a moment before systematically looking along the walls, searching for a door of sorts. She tries calling out again, bolder this time, "Hello? I know someone's out there! HELLO?" She stops, silence, listening for a moment. Too distracted to notice the beep from her phone, she moves to the sink, pointlessly turning the tap with a loud 'graunching' sound to see if it works. Her mouth's dry, she was already hungry when shopping, and she simultaneously needs to urinate.

Water, brown and gross looking sputters out of the sink when Candy turns it on. It hardly looks drinkable at first, but it gradually seems to clear up. It's not more than a minute or two after Candy's louder calls that a sound outside the heavy door indicates someone is there, unlatching it with a clank then a creek precedes it opening up to reveal a man at the threshold. He looks over at Candy as he comes inside the cell, bulky enough to fill the door and angry faced, "Why the fuck are you hollarin' I was napping." he scolds Candy.

Starling, Candy jerks her hand back from the tap, leaving it running unevenly and sputteringly into the grimy sink beneath. Mouth opening and closing a few times like a goldfish, Candy stares up at the dark shape dominating the doorway, worry warring with relief at the site of someone, anyone. Wrapping both arms around herself to squeeze in some semblance of a hug, Candy takes a single step closer to the doorway, her words spilling out in a rush of breath, "Oh, oh hello! Hello, I think there's been a terrible mistake, I'm not supposed to be here? I think.. something... somthing's happened, but I must.. have fallen asleep.." Her words fade out, confusion contorting her features as she gazes at him.

Furrowing his brows the man looks over Candy, looking almost confused by her statement, "Don't play stupid with me, y'think you can run away from your Master to Haven and just get away so easily? We're always ready to return lost property." the words, appear to have NO meaning to Candy, probably very confusing for an unaware person to hear. "Just relax, take a nap and we'll have you shipped off back to your daddy-yo in a few hours."

Swallowing, Candy looks on the verge of tears as she takes another step towards the man, her voice imploring, "No you don't understand, I only arrived to the town today.. today? I was shopping, I left my phone on the bus, I was picking up.. a new one, but.. but I must have fallen asleep, I don't have a master! I don't have.. anyone, or a daddy, I just.." As if remembering the phone in her hand, Candy lifts it, the light flashing as she taps the button at the side, "I can call someone, I can show you, see, just.. I shouldn't be here."

With a sudden burst of furry the man lifts a backhand to swat at Candy and try and knock her phone, "What the fuck is Ringo doin' not frisking you for your phone." he growls, then with a shake of his head in disbelief he tells Candy, "Look Candi, we know you split from your master and came here. We're sending you back."

As if the prove his point the man reaches into his own pocket to whip out his phone then after some scrolling he shows Candy a picture...it almost looks like Candy except the girl is more pale in the picture, her blonde hair is cut to shoulder length and her eyes are distinctly brown. A fool who wasn't looking closely might think its the same person.

Clearly not use to being touched with cruel hands, Candy flinches from the big mans swiping hand, watching with horror as her little pink phone goes flying across the sell to hit the wall with a loud cracking sound. Forcing herself to look over to the phone he holds up, Candy starts to breath faster, relief suddenly raising her voice, "No, no see no, that's not me! Look, look at us, look at me, I have.. I have pink in my hair! And my eyes, look.. look at her, oh please will you?"

Lifting his hand the man seems just about ready to swat at Candy one more time, but this time to strike her. Except her words seem to give him pause. He grunts, scowling about something then he looks at the picture on his own device. He double takes it, looking to Candy, then back to the phone then back to Candy again. "For fucks sakes Ringo...Ya brought the wrong chick you idiot." who is he even talking to? There is no one here? He must be lamenting a co-conspirator.

Candy hitches a watery-eyed smile as she looks up to him, one hand pressing against her chest in abject relief as she exhales a long, jittery breath, "Oh, thank you. Thank you so much. I'm not she! I'm just me... and if you could.. show me out.. I'd be so thankful. You're so kind. You're SO kind, thank you."

"What? Are you stupid." The man ask Candy, eyeing her coldly. What do you do with kidnapping victims. Even the wrong one? Do you just let them go? The man stares her down, silent, not explaining what he might do now.

As her face falls in an instant, something seems to dawn on Candy, slowly. This won't be a simple case of walking out and returning to her little shopping spree. She tries reassurance as she pulls back, that arm returning to hug at her waist, "I won't tell anyone. I promise you, whatever happens, I will just.. it will be like it never happened. I'm new here, I want to start a business, a life, what good could I do by.. telling anyone anything.. if you just let me go, I promise, I promise you."

Shaking his head the man says, "Nah, gonna have to erase you." he says, being vague and showing annoyance in his voice. "Just wait your pretty little head right there." he says then he moves to step back to the door, if Candy doesn't interfere he shuts it with a slam behind him. Locking her in again

Candy moves to the door, too slowly, almost being hit in the face by the heavy sheet of metal. Lifting both hands she pounds them into the door, her little fists echoing round the hard, barren cell, "Erase? What do you mean erase? HELLO? Oh please, please we don't need to do that! There has to be another way, PLEASE?"

Stopping her hammering to listen, every hopeful, Candy waits... and waits and eventually, starts to cry as she sinks downwards into a crouch on the floor.

Left to freak out for ten..twenty or who knows how many minutes. There is no clock. Candy is forced to imagine all the meanings of erasure. Eventually the man returns, swinging the door open. He stands there smirking as he finds Candy crying in despair. In his hand is a syringe with a relatively long, scary looking needle. "Alright after this, it'll be over. Y'gonna be a bitch about it?"

There is no mercy as the man advances on Candy, he looms over her with considerable bulk and he tries to wrestle her hands out of the way to get that syringe past her guard, "I ain't interested in fuckin' you. Least not while your cryin' and awake." he says with a serious level of just being gross. He struggles with Candy, seeking to jab her with that mysterious needle if he can just get it into a vital part of her, most likely her neck.

Turning into a cornered Raccoon, Candy kicks, hits and lashes out with everything she has. This girl's unwilling to go easy into the night. "Fuck you. Fuck you, get OFF Me, stop, STOP, NO." But she's fairly small, and while agile, there's no strength behind her movements.

Candy fights bravely, and makes it really difficult but eventually the cold pierce of the sharp needle sinks into Candy's neck. Things go cold and dark very quickly. Eventually she awakens in the Antlers, even if she never had a room there. She's got one now. She remembers only vague dreamlike memories. Perhaps it was just a nightmare. The needle given to her was an amnesiac potion which is not uncommon to be used in Haven against the unaware, coupled with a sedative to knock out Candy. Still she would feel strange waking up in a different place and unrested.

Candy wakes, groggy and uncomfortable. Shifting, she pushes up, reaching between her legs to feel the dampness of her jeans. "The fuck, Candy?" Lifting her hand, she looks at the grimy dirt on her palm, furrowing her brow as she wipes it on the bedsheets. As her phone beeps, she looks down to finger the little crack running down the length of the phone case. Confused, tired and blaming everything on a lack of sleep and over exertion, she drags herself from the bed, rubs at her face and goes to head to the bathroom.
