Elliots Odd Encounter Sr Takeshi 250223

The tale unfolds with Elliot experiencing a bewildering and alarming awakening in a hospital room, far removed from the normalcy one would expect in such a setting. His reality becomes increasingly unsettling as he discovers himself subjected to an unauthorized procedure, ostensibly to prepare him for an upcoming operation on his knee. Drugged and disoriented from the medication purportedly meant to alleviate his pain, Elliot's grasp on his circumstances wanes, further muddled by the appearance and actions of an enigmatic doctor and a visibly concerned nurse. Their intentions, cloaked in the guise of routine preoperative care, manifest in the extraction of his blood, quite against the normal procedures Elliot was led to believe were scheduled.

As the narrative progresses, Elliot's disorientation grows under the influence of potent drugs, rendering him almost powerless to react or comprehend the gravity of his situation. The doctor, with a carefree demeanor and a thick German accent, attempts to placify Elliot's fleeting consciousness with assurances of standard medical practice. Contrarily, the somber mood is palpably heightened by the nurse's anxiety and the alarming sight of his blood being drawn into multiple bags, suggesting a far more sinister motive behind his current predicament. Despite the doctor's charismatic façade and efforts to normalize the bizarre treatment, the nurse's uneasy compliance and the extraction of blood for ambiguous "tests" hint at a dark plot veiled by the sterility of the hospital room. The story leaves Elliot in a vulnerable state, caught in a mysterious and potentially perilous situation that transcends a mere medical procedure.

In hospital room 2
This room is sparsely furnished, the sanitary white walls a perfect match
to the linoleum floor and the thin hospital sheets on the gurney that serves
as a bed. A small television mounted in the upper corner of the room is set
at a low volume, and a thin curtain bisects the room in an effort to afford
privacy to the occupant on the other side.

It is night, about 0F(-17C) degrees, and the sky is covered by dark grey clouds. There is a waning crescent moon.

The last 24 hours might have been particularly hard for Elliot. It had all started when a nurse had come in to inform him he was being placed on a new type of medication, apparently a new type of pain killed to prepare him for the latest of a series of operations on his knee. Since then he'd barely been able to catch a few hours conscious at a time. Whatever it was they were hopping him up on didn't seem to be helping, at least to the drugged up outside perspective of a nonprofessional, all it really seemed to be doing is robbing from him the ability to stay conscious for extended periods of time, or to string together any thoughts in a coherent manner.

"Heart rate raising, a little." You hear a voice, it was annoying, it made it hard to sleep. "I think he might be waking up" The same voice, a low and hushed tone, seemingly a young woman talking, she sounded concerned. "It will be fine. Continue with the procedure" A second voice, a masculine one, it sounded older than the first.

As far as you had been aware, there were no 'procedures' scheduled for you for at least until next week. But ... Perhaps you simply hadn't remember being told about one? There were lots of things you hadn't remembered, or at least, had been told you hadn't remembered. Side effects of the drug, they said. You'd seen your signature on more documents than you could remember recently, not having remembered signing any of them

"Doctor, I really think he might be waking up ..." Came the voice a second time as your sleep is further disrupted by the unwelcome, but relatively mild, pinprick of a needle being pushed into your arm "Ja, ja, waking up. I hear you." The tone was cold and dismissive, not seeming to care one way or the other.

Elliot cracks one eye open, casting his gaze around the room, and he blinks turning his head from side to side as he tries to get his ass together. Landing atop a pillow as he stares off to the side, the dark-haired man blinks, mumbling "What is this...the needle." He might he awake but he is clearly floating.

As Elliot opens his eyes he'd see two figures at the side of his bed, and elderly looking doctor handling the needle Elliot could now see being put into his arm. The other was a concerned looking nurse, looking at Elliot wide eyed with almost a sense of panic he looks at her.

"Ah! Gud mourning!" The doctor greets him energetically, all smiles as he slowly pushes the needle further into his arm "You haf been quite the sleepyhead, yes?" He chuckles warmly, his accent a thick and merry deutschland tongue.

The needle in his arm wasn't a syringe, though his other arm did still have the IV bag hanging by the bed still connected so anything they wanted to put into his system they wouldn't have had to inject anyway. Instead, the needle in his arm lead to a thin line of rubber tubing. The rubber tubing was scarlet red, Elliot able to see his life essence being drawn through the tube into a slowly filling blood bag placed on a scale at his bedside table. And next to the scale, three other blood bags, all very full already.

"Ve are just extracting some blood to vrun some tests, ja. Ve must make sure you are vready for big operation" The doctor tells him, his expression warm and charismatic, as if he had spent a lifetime comforting sick and confused people at bed sides. The Nurse looked less confident. "Could you please vfluff ze patients pillow, Miss Smith?" He asks the nurse, the nurse not reacting to the name at first, looking confused, before seeming to realize that he was talking to her and making her way over to do as he had told her, reaching out shaking hands as she tries to adjust Elliot's pillow to make him more comfortable
