Evans Odd Encounter Sr Ashe 250430

In the quietude of an otherwise ordinary afternoon, Evan's contemplative solitude is abruptly pierced by an onslaught of digital pleas for help from his friend, Ryan Tierny. The flurry of messages, all stamped with an urgency that belies the half-hour delay in their delivery, depict a frantic friend in dire straits. Amid the digital cacophony, a singular image stands out—a photograph of a parchment, menacing in its archaic simplicity, adorned with a cryptic symbol and an ominous warning aimed at Ryan. This note, a tangible testament to the supernatural snare in which Ryan finds himself entangled, hints at a grave overstepping of bounds. The weight of the situation is palpable even through the phone's screen, setting the stage for a peculiar and compelling mystery.

As the narrative unfolds, it becomes evident that Ryan's predicament is far from mundane; he has been hexed, his human form cruelly traded for an animal's guise, leaving him in a desperate scramble for a solution. The once familiar surroundings now stage a surreal tableau, where Ryan, stripped of his usual means of communication, must somehow convey the gravity of his curse to Evan. The transformation, a stark departure from the norm, pushes both characters into unfamiliar territory, challenging their wit, trust, and the strength of their bond. The urgent need to decode the cryptic warning and reverse the hex propels the tale towards a resolution that hinges on understanding, friendship, and the unraveling of arcane mysteries. As the story weaves through the complexities of curses and the search for redemption, it underscores the unpredictable nature of magic and the unforeseen adventures it can precipitate in the most unremarkable of afternoons.

In a laidback bedroom
Clearly the inhabitants comfort space, this bedroom seems cluttered at a glance but there is some organization to it. There's just a lot going on!

The room has been arranged so as you walk in you are met with a very informal seating arrangement of two beanbag chairs around a small tv stand with a modest smart TV. To the left of this arrangement is a computer set up for PC Gamings.

A door to the right leads to a small ensuite bathroom while the rest of the room is what it was always meant to be - a bedroom. A full size bed sits horizontally against the northern wall, acting as additional TV seating when necessary. A dresser sits beside in, also horizontally.

The faint sent of weed mingles with whatever incense is currently in the diffuser.

It is afternoon, about 61F(16C) degrees, and there are a few dark grey stormclouds in the sky.

(Your target has been hexed and transformed into an animal against their will. Unable to turn back they need to try to find allies who can understand their problem and find a way to undo the curse.
)
It's a lazy afternoon, with the warmth of the spring air filtering in through a window that was, accidentally or not, left cracked open. The occassional lulling sound of pre 'rush-hour' traffic can be heard faintly outside, in as much as Haven has a rush hour. The sound of a siren in the distance can be heard faintly. It's far away, and a periodic rejoinder to the various noises of the township.

An alert pops up on Evan's phone quite suddenly. Something must have muddled the program, because while it's marked urgent, it looks like it was from half an hour ago, along with a series of missed calls, texts, voice messages, discord pop ups, myhaven messages and other various means of getting in contact with Evan. All sent half an hour ago, all delivered just now.

All of the messages come from one person; Ryan Tierny. Each and every one some variation of WHERE ARE YOU?
I'm at your house and you're not here.
Shit Evan, I'm in so much shit. I can't deal with this right now.
Where are you?

Along with the various voice and text messages is a picture. Opening the picture reveals a note on a piece of old looking parchment, a strange demonic symbol at the head of it, with a set of writing that says "you overstepped your bounds, Ryan."
