Kathlynns Odd Encounter Sr William 241223

In the cozy yet elaborate setting of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority house, Kathlynn recounts a chilling experience to Officers Johnson and Brown. The tale begins with a ghostly encounter that led her to a mysterious grave, followed by a threatening confrontation with a man who, scared and disoriented, accused Kathlynn of drugging him before fleeing into the woods. This frightening series of events prompts Kathlynn to arm herself with a pistol for protection, a decision she justifies with the terrifying sounds of what she believes was a wolf attack that night. The officers, while concerned, seem to focus on verifying Kathlynn's story, particularly interested in the whereabouts of the grave and the man's escape route.

As Kathlynn nervously provides the officers with the details of her ordeal, including her peculiar blackout moments and a prior arrest for public nudity, the atmosphere is tense yet filled with an undercurrent of intrigue between Kathlynn and Officer Brown. She attempts to be as helpful as possible, despite her vague memory, and even offers her phone number to Officer Brown for any follow-up questions. With the officers departing to investigate the lead, Kathlynn is left alone, her mixed feelings of fear and attraction towards the officer lingering in the air. The encounter hints at a deeper mystery within the town of White Oak, leaving Kathlynn, now a key witness to something potentially supernatural, at the heart of the unfolding drama.

[Sun Dec 22 2024]

In the main room of Delta Delta Delta Sorority
With walls painted in the sorority's signature cerulean blue, the hallway serves as the nexus of the Charity House, bridging the domain between leisure, hospitality, and rest through gold and silver-trimmed doorways. The majestic flight of stairs leads up to the second floor bedrooms, each step framed with intricate silver patterns. A large chandelier, dripping with crystals resembling droplets of water and pearls, casts a gentle glow over the entire landing.

Adjacent to the entrance of the living room, a neat stack of cheerleading pom-poms in shades of silver, gold, and cerulean can occasionally be found, fresh from the latest practice session or White Oak Wildcats game. Occasionally, a pair of cheer sneakers, still bearing traces of field dust, might be left to the side, waiting to be picked up.

It is afternoon, about 12F(-11C) degrees, and there are a few dark grey stormclouds in the sky.

Kathlynn sniffles slightly as she get a bit of control over herself. "Y...yeah. I put a hair scrunchie on it... its all I had. I saw some light as she passed over. And the guy... well he started yelling at me. At first I thought he was going to hurt me... but then he just ran off screaming into the woods. He said I did something to him, as if I drugged him or something." Kathlynn looks up at the pair, thankful they are being so kind to her. "The sounds when he was attacked were sickening. And I think... I'm not sure how many wolves it was. Thats when I bought the pistol." She waves at her purse. "I was told I could get a permit for self defense with it, so I did. I don't want to get eaten by a wolf. That was the most horrible thing I have ever heard."

"It is quite unpleasant yes..." Officer Johnson replies, only to be cut by Brown, who chimes in saying "Nasty beasts, you know? They go crazy during full moons, their mind is so far gone that they are able to even bypass Sanctuary when attacking people" But his partner makes a motion with his hand to stop him from going off the rails himself, shaking his head.

Then, clearing his throat once more, officer Johnson asks Kathlynn "Well, according to our research you arrived to Haven that very same day, is this correct? And could you please details us where this grave was and where did he run to? We will have to verify all of this..." To which the more rugged man chimes in again, with a little nod "So far you seem innocent enough, but we still need to check this out- But if we catch you trying to flee the town before any of this is resolved... Well, things won't go as smoothly..."

Kathlynn looks up at them blushing, "Um... well truthfully... I'm not sure when I arrived. I um... well... sometimes I trance out and find myself in weird predicaments with no memory of how I got there. That happened, I think that morning." Her nipples harden at the memory... 'I...um..." her voice shifts a little softer, "I might have gotten thrown into the Sheriff's Department jail for um... public nudity earlier that day." her eyes downcast, "A nice lady named Savannah helped me out, got me some clothes. but um... i don't know how long I might have been in town beforehand. I don't really remember arriving.""

"We are aware of the arrest, yes" One of the two officers comments, while the other adds "And we would have contacted deputy Bailey herself, but she's out of town for a whole week..." This probably being Savannah's surname, given that she was the one mentioned by Kathlynn, but they don't seem to put too much stress onto the whole nudity subject, each of them giving a light shake of their heads, before Johnson speaks again "We aren't really here about that whole incident- If you tell us where this grave is and where the man ran off to, I can just go do a quick verification and Officer Brown can stay over here with you so that- Well, you can provide any additional details"

Kathlynn tells them what she can remember of that night, being that it was dark, and cold, and in the forest. She tells them of a few remembered landmarks that they ghost took her past. Describing how the ghost just kept pointing until they reached a small clearing with two flat stones and a place between them. She describes the hair scrunchy which might still be nearby. Her details are a bit vague in places, but she seems to be trying to be as helpful as possible.

Kathlynn's eyes keep flickering to the handcuffs on Officer Brown's belt every so often, but she is able to drag them back to his face each time.

And given the explanation, Johnson takes a couple notes in a small looking notebook, before heading out of the door of the kitchen, soon enough the door of the sorority being heard again, and half a minute later, the sight of the deputy moving outside the window, in the freezing outside, towards the east, probably towards the entrance of White Oak.

Officer Brown on the other side stays closeby, in the kitchen, moving a bit to a side to rest one of those heavy arms on top of the table, right next to her purse, the mroe compact body tilting to a side as he looks over to Kathlynn "Is there anything else you think we should be aware of regarding this particular subject?"

Kathlynn looks up to him saying, "Um... not that I can think of Officer Brown... but um... do you need my phone number... to um... contact me if you have any ...um... follow up questions?"

"Oh, uh- Of course, why not?" The deputy says, incorporating himself a little better and reaching into one of his pockets, searching for his phone in it, making the cuffs clink ever so slightly as he does so, before managing to fish out the device and open it "You feel free to send any details regarding this over as well- But do take into account this is a work device... So careful with mentioning, you know, anything that might put you on the spot, like that little incident you talked about before"

Kathlynn blushes slightly as he mentions that, her nipples becoming obvious under her shirt. She gives him her phone number with a cute little kitty drawing right next to it.

Kathlynn says "Yes Officer Brown. And I promise I won't leave town. "
Officer Brown takes the number, nodding his head as he starts to input it into the device, maybe a bit slower than one would expect, the guy doesn't seem all that good with electronics, though he probably makes it up with sheer muscle. Then after a moment he looks up from the phone and gives a smile to Kathlynn "Done- Well, if that's everything you can remember, I think we should be done over here... So unless you have anything to add or ask, Miss...?" Trailing off, leaving that open as if to ask for her surname rather than her name, seems like it wasn't on the file

Kathlynn says "Kathlynn Murphy, but most people call me kat... but you can call me anything you want to."
The officer seems to catch on now to what is going on, at least with that comment, giving Kathlynn a bit of a smirk "Maybe some other time then- And Miss Murphy, make sure to ask around about the spell surrounding White Oak, you might want to get acquainted with that one..." The deputy says as he finally moves back towards the door, giving a little wave, before heading out. Just like the other times, door sound following, and the man walking away outside the window, leaving the redhead back alone with her own thoughts in the kitchen
