Lochanas Odd Encounter Sr Emmelline 241118
On a chilling night at the Howl, a Victorian Gothic Bar & Lounge, an odd encounter unfolded between Lochana, Eliana, and a newly made werewolf, unaware of her transformation. Lochana, struggling with English, and Eliana were attempting to understand one another over beverages near the fireplace when they were interrupted by the howling of a werewolf, signaling an unusual event about to unfold. Their conversation, initially hindered by a language barrier, took a dramatic turn with the unexpected entrance of a disheveled woman. Her entrance was marked by desperation and confusion, as she pleaded for help, wearing tattered clothes and having no recollection of how she arrived at the bar, indicating a mysterious lapse in time.
The woman's plea for help led Eliana and Lochana into action, despite the communication challenges. Eliana, maintaining her composure, tried to assure the woman of their intention to help, probing her for details about any injuries, specifically focusing on a significant event that could explain her condition. The woman's recount of a hike gone awry, where she was bitten by what she assumed to be a large wolf, began to clarify the situation for Eliana. Amidst attempts to calm and assist her, the woman's agitation peaked upon Eliana's insistence on the significance of the scar from the bite, revealing an underlying denial and fear. Despite Lochana's efforts to pacify the atmosphere by offering tea, the woman lashed out against Eliana's suggestions for medical attention, accusing her of lying and fabricating stories. Her denial of the extraordinary implication of her wound led her to storm out of the bar, leaving behind more questions than answers and an ominous threat directed at Eliana. The encounter concluded with uncertainty and tension, as the true nature of the woman's affliction remained unaddressed, veiled in her refusal to acknowledge the reality of her situation.

At A Victorian Gothic Bar & Lounge (Howl)
Stepping through the eastern door reveals the bar's main room, a hexagonal chamber wrapped in the warm embrace of mahogany paneling. Its grandeur is heightened by a high, arching ceiling, from which a wrought-iron chandelier casts a dramatic, low glow. This light mingles with the flickering flames from the southeastern fireplace, lending a captivating depth to the marble floor, its dark green hues streaked with black, reflecting the room's moody illumination.
The room's focal point lies to the west: an exquisite antique mahogany bar, masterfully refinished, standing with regal poise. Arched built-ins behind the bar display an array of spirits, inviting a closer look into the world of refined tastes. The space is primarily a lounge, offering diverse seating arrangements. Sleek green and black barstools line the bar, while plush couches and a wall of books create a cozy nook to the north. Nearby, a cluster of thick armchairs surrounds the fireplace, providing a warm, inviting area for intimate conversations.
On the northern wall, a captivating mural commands attention. It features a pint-sized figure with glossy black hair and an intriguing assortment of tattoos, her gaze directed thoughtfully to the right. The way her fringe blends into the crescent moon adds a mystic quality to the image. Her expression, tinged with a hint of sadness yet laced with hope, seems to invite onlookers into a world beyond the mural, adding a layer of emotional depth to the bar's enigmatic ambiance. This artistic touch not only enhances the room's aesthetic but also weaves a narrative that resonates with the mysterious allure of the establishment. One can just make out the faint outline of an old door beneath that mural.
It is night, about 34F(1C) degrees, and there are a few dark grey stormclouds in the sky. There is a waning gibbous moon.
(Your target encounters a newly made werewolf who doesn't know what they are or what they've done shortly after the full moon.

and Eliana are partaking of some beverages near the fireplace at the Howl, doing their best to try and understand one another. Which is a bit of a feat considering Lochana's near complete lack of English. She takes another sip of her tea, easing forward on her seat with a look of relief when Eliana suggests so. As for the questions, the hooded girl tilts her head side to side then adds softly in a hushed voice, "Anupharis... shhhhh," as if she fully expects Eliana to know what this means.
Lochana and Eliana are having a conversation, perhaps a more difficult one given the language barrier late in the evening. A howling can be heard not too far in the distance. Which though unlikely, seems rather closer to the establishment than normal. it comes again, closer this time to the bar.
Eliana considers Lochana's words, then nods once, "Ah, I think I see." she utters, opting for vagueness as she glances around, especially into the corners of the high ceilings, for whatever reason. "She is probably right." she adds in that quiet, aristocratic voice of hers. She has considerably more English going for her than Lochana does, but the way she speaks is still a touch stilted, in that overly formal way. As the howling sounds, the small smile curling her lips fades, and her gaze tracks to the door, fixing on it.
Lochana finishes the last of her tea then plucks at the straw in her glass that she hadn't been using and now uses it to amuse herself briefly by making the ice cubes go round and round in the glass. This only last long enough for her to hear the howl and her head perks up, chin lifting as she looks around the strange decor of the bar the pair of them are in. Glancing back quickly at Eliana, she notices the smile drop away and asks, "Bad?"

Lochana(OOC) Sorry.
It's at that moment the door opens rather violently and a woman practically crashes in. The woman is quite disheveled. The long pink and white dress she wears might have been pretty once, were it not in tatters about the woman's body, barely keeping her decent. The woman's long red locks are tangled about her face, half obscuring it. "Help! I need help!," she cries out as she enters the bar, looking about her surroundings wildly, as if she can't quite take it in. The woman is petite, perhaps just barely hitting five feet, with a pretty heart shaped face. Though currently it is hard to tell, given the rather terrified expression on her face, and quite evident in her emerald green eyes.
"I am not sure, it could b-..." Eliana trails off as the door crashes open, rising to her feet. "Bad." she informs Lochana with a set of her jaw. Her gaze tracks over the distraught woman, taking her in, checking her for serious injury, and then moves past her, toward the door. Long strides carry her toward it, intent on trying to beat whatever the new arrival flees from to it so she can buy whatever time shutting it might earn them to come up with further solutions, and answers.
Lochana is started when the strange woman comes crashing through the door, her blue eyes widening in shock. She doesn't even need to understand the words that are coming out of the red-head's mouth to realize that something is very very wrong here. She's a moment behind Eliana, setting her glass down on the small table before hopping up to her feet. While Eliana heads for the door, the paler one heads for the redhead. With tension high in the air she doesn't even attempt her poor English, slipping back into her native tongue as she tries to reach out tentatively and calm the redhead. "Shhh, shhh. It is alright. We can help you. Calm down. Calm down madame." A worried look is cast in Eliana's direction.
When Eliana reaches the doors to shut it, she'll find upon peering outside there isn't anything out of the ordinary going on. The streets outside are fairly empty given the time of night, though there are a few still wandering about half drunk on a typical Saturday night. The woman for her part as Lochana addresses her, appears to become more frantic. "I don't know what you're saying!," she exclaims to her. "I don't know what you want, but I don't have it," she says, seeming to mistake Lochana's gesture as her wanting something. "I need help!"
Eliana's brow knits, just a little as she peeks outside, still making sure to close the door in short enough order. This done, she turns to the redhead herself, a small frown forming, "We are helping. Be -still-." she offers, perhaps a bit harshly considering the other woman's state, using the word 'still' in that archaic sense of sound and motion alike. She steps toward Lochana and the redhead then, "What is the matter?" she asks now, less unkindly, "What has happened?" she questions, quiet command in her otherwise soft voice.
With Eliana stepping closer and the redhead seeming to panic more, Lochana takes a step back and holds both her hands up to show that she is no threat. She seems to understand about as much as what the redhead is saying to her as the other is understanding. Regardless, she does seem concerned about the woman in the tattered dress.
'I don't know!," the woman exclaims at Eliana's question. And she is not being very still, as she paces up and down the room. "I don't know. I don't even know where I am, or how I got here! I just went for a walk,' she says with a shake of her head, seeming definitely fretful. "I just went for a walk. It was a beautiful full moon. I thought it'd be nice to go for a walk. I knew it was late, but then the moon was out, and it still seemed bright enough."

I knew it was late, but then the moon was out, and it still seemed bright enough." fix"
Eliana watches the woman with her dark gaze, features slipping back to being more impassive aside from a slight narrowing of her eyes. She steps toward Lochana, gently using a hand to urge Lochana to give the newer arrival space, "Are you hurt anywhere?" she wonders of the redhead, "Seriously, I mean. Did an animal attack you, perhaps?" she prompts. There's a slight edge, a strange quality to the obviously fabricated 'soothing' note in her voice.
Lochana eases back at Eliana's gesture, still looking very concerned however. With her friend taking the lead in the investigations she looks about quickly then darts off to the bar. There she pauses, scrounging in her satchel and drawing out a fistful of dollar notes, probably at least two or three times the price of what she actually ends up asking for. "Tea," she demands from the poor barkeep, holding out the bills in offering.
"I don't know!," the woman exclaims, seeming even more wound up by Eliana's questioning. "I went for a walk. I remember that. And I remember the moon was full and pretty. I was walking down a trail I'd walked so many times before. The next thing I remember, I'm in the middle of a forest somewhere. My clothes are all tattered, it took me an eternity to get back! I don't even quite know where I am now, or how I got here. Just days seem to have passed. I mean..." she gestures at the window, where the waning gibis is visible.
There is a tick of annoyance on Eliana's features now with the woman's franticness and volume, "Be -calm-." she demands of the redhead again, a somehow different note of command entering her voice this time, a harsh, resonant note of authority, "We cannot help you in this state." she tries to recover her own composure immediately after, "We need for you to be calm." she intones, "Please consider, check your body, -are you hurt-?" she questions again, fixing on that question, "Do you have a scar you do not remember before the walk? A large one?". She smiles aside at Lochana as she does her work, nodding encouraging as her lips turn up just a little, "A good idea." she praises.
The barkeep wants to know which of the offered iced teas on the menu Lochana wants, but she's insistent. That, or she simply doesn't have the vocabulary for anything else. "Tea," she keeps requesting, again, and again until the barkeep eventually gives up. He takes her money, counting out some and then handing the rest back to her which she stuffs back into the satchel. There's a glance over her shoulder at Eliana and the redhead, a small smile coming to her lips when she captures the 'good' out of everything else that Eliana is trying to say. Eventually she returns to stand nearby the other two women with a southern-style sweet tea in hand and at the ready.
The woman resists the imprint rather violently as Eliana tries to exude her influence upon her. Though obviously she is unaweare she's done such a thing. "I'm not calm. I'm not going to be calm. Would you? If you lost huge chunks of time, and couldn't remember how you got to where you are, or where you are even now?" Something about Eliana's question however, causes her to pause in her ranting. "Why does that matter? No I don't have any scars. None I can't remember. I mean not the walk..." she says, her words sounding disjointed.
Eliana emits a low groan, clutching at her head for several long moments before she shakes it clear. There is a grinding of her teeth, a set to her jaw as she regains her footing and mental clarity, eyes narrowed on the tattered-clothed woman as though she may be a moment from striking her, but another few heartbeats and this too is smoothed to neutrality, "Not from the walk...?" she prompts, urging the woman to continue that train of thought.
Lochana looks back and forth between Eliana and the redhead, now not sure who to be more worried about when the latter emits that groan. She chews nervously at the corner of her lip then tries to take a little step closer, offering the drink to the agitated redhead, "Tea?"
The woman takes the tea offered to her by Lochana. She takes a deep drink, this seeming to calm her a little. "I went on a hike," she begins to Eliana. "I don't know, a week or so ago? I got separated from my group. There was a big wolf, it bit me. That or a gigantic dog. I don't know really, I tried running, and it bit me. I lost consciousness from the pain. But the group found me, took me back to camp. We cleaned it and bandaged it though. But I mean... that's the only scar. I don't know why that matters though."
"Finally..." Eliana intones, another rare display of irritation before she listens to the redheads tale, her neutral features slipping deeper into a frown as she does. She steps closer to Lochana, nodding to Lochana as she positions herself to easily get between the two, for some reason, "Tea good." she praises Lochana before looking to the redhead again. "Listen to me." she voices, "You need to go to the clinic, explain your walk, explain your loss of memory, explain your accident on the hike." she instructs the woman, "You should go anyway, you need to be examined after losing such time from your memory in the forest."
Lochana seems tickled pink both when the redhead takes the tea and with the praise from Eliana. Sadly for her, most of the conversations is lost on her save for a few words here and there that she's picking up on. As Eliana steps in, she steps back to let the other woman take that space between her and the redhead, looking rather oblivious.
"Why?," the woman asks of Eliana. "What's with you and my scar? It's just a scar," she says, lifting up the tatters of her dress to show the scar to Eliana. It is a rather large and angry looking scar, in the process of healing over. "I don't even need the bandage anymore, it stopped hurting. It'll probably just be a weird scar on the ankle. Plus, I don't even know where I am right now. Let alone where the hospital is."
Eliana leans down to whisper something to Lochana before she addresses the woman again, "It is a deeper scar than you realize." she informs the redhead, vaguely, "You are in Haven, I believe this is called 'The Howl'." she begins to explain, "I can perhaps see if someone from the clinic is able to come and retrieve you." she offers, using a rather unsettling term for whatever reason, "I am afraid I drive a Vespa, so it will not do, really, to drive someone that could perhaps be injured without realizing it." she explains, "There are...illnesses among wolves, you really should get examined."
Lochana leans in closer to Eliana, listening to her whisper and then nodding her head like she totally understands now. Which she doesn't, but that also doesn't seem to bother her all that much. She looks back at the redhead, offering a reassuring smile and gesturing faintly with a hand towards the tea in her hands. "Drink, drink," she encourages in her broken English. "Tea is good."
The woman's eyes grow wide at Eliana's words. "No, you're a liar! It's just a scar!," she exclaims, looking like she'd like to hurl the tea at Eliana. She doesn't however, managing to slam the cup down on an empty table, causing the tea to slosh around, threatening to spill out of the cup. "You spin tall tales! You're such a liar!," the woman screams at Eliana, clearly this is effecting her on a very deep level. Though why that might be is anyone's guess. She whirls around and storms back out the door whence she came, screaming to Eliana, "You'll get your own for telling lies," before she disappears from view.
The woman's plea for help led Eliana and Lochana into action, despite the communication challenges. Eliana, maintaining her composure, tried to assure the woman of their intention to help, probing her for details about any injuries, specifically focusing on a significant event that could explain her condition.
