Madelines Odd Encounter Sr Alexi 250123
In an enchanting twist of reality, Madeline and her companion Lilian found themselves transported from the tranquil embrace of an onsen in a beautifully landscaped backyard into an undersea realm, a setting straight out of a fantasy. Their journey began innocuously enough, with a drowsy descent beneath the onsen's waters, only to emerge into a vibrant underwater world. There, amidst coral structures and exotic sea life, they were drawn towards an imposing temple or palace that hinted at the presence of something, or someone, extraordinary.
This undersea haven was ruled by Nautilus, a creature of the Fae, whose allure was matched only by the splendor of his domain. Despite their initial apprehensions, Madeline and Lilian were entreated to partake in a peculiar form of hospitality that transcended mere curiosity, offering a glimpse into the joys of simple companionship and conversation. Nautilus, seeking only the company and the novelty of interaction with his yearly visitors, engaged them in mundane yet enthralling exchanges. Despite the opulence of their surroundings and the surreal experience of dining and dancing under the sea, the essence of their visit remained profoundly human – a shared desire for connection. As suddenly as their adventure began, it concluded, leaving them back in the warmth of the onsen but touched by an inexplicable longing for the unique peace and wonderment they had experienced, a gentle reminder of the unusual encounter that blurred the lines between the ordinary and the magical.

In a small grassy yard below an apartment
The backyard, once a simple expanse of green grass, has been transformed into an unexpected oasis. At its heart lay an onsen, a sunken stone bath large enough for multiple people that shimmers with the promise of tranquility. Fed by spring water, the water of the onsen is a tranquil turquoise and steam rises from it's surface no matter the weather.
Around the onsen, a Japanese-inspired garden begins to unfold. Smooth, grey river rocks are carefully arranged to create a sense of movement and flow, mimicking the path of a stream. Moss-covered boulders, like ancient sentinels, punctuated the landscape, adding a touch of rugged beauty. As if to frame the scene, a Japanese maple tree, its branches bare in this winter time, stands as a sentinel, casting dappled shadows on the ground.
The sparring area has been preserved but at the side, in a large circle of perfectly mowed grass.
On every side of the garden, tall brick walls ensure privacy with vines grown over the brickwork to made a facade of nature.
From the maple tree and around the onsen, small lanterns hang, giving off a soft warm glow.
It is night, about 20F(-6C) degrees, and there are a few dark grey stormclouds in the sky. There is a waning crescent moon.
(Your target is abuducted through the water to an undersea cave where an oceanic Fae is wanting a romantic or social encounter with them.

Underwater ... this world is like nothing Madeline has ever seen outside of the movies or perhaps in more recent experiences if she's been around the town very long, now. Coral drifts and floats like trees, large and enormous all around her. Sea-life zips past, soft trails of motion trailing through the depths of the water that Madeline can see through even though it should be murky and dark. In the distance ... some kind of undersea palace or temple.
Lilian sinks down with Madeline she presumes, the vampiresses sapphire eyes narrowed as they descend. She doesn't need to breath so she doesn't panic but her companion....
Madeline relaxes drowsily next to Lilian, the conversation winding down slightly. Her eyes feel heavy and close, but seem to open back up again, the setting very different than the one she fell asleep in. The idea that she is underwater and should not be able to breathe just never occurs to her, instead looking over to Lilian for a moment, completely silent nudging her head questioningly at the temple in the distance.
Lilian would indeed. And like Madeline the need to breathe won't even be a problem. No sense of fear or danger - while under the sea somehow, transported through the waters of the Onsen ... Madeline seems perfectly capable of breathing and moving about. Between the pair of them, there's nothing but wonderment and or curiosity or suspicion about the experience that begins to unfold between them.
Madeline looks in the direction of the temple, swimming toward it at a brisk pace. She takes in the sights while en route, a sense of wonderment filling her mind. There is a thought in the back of her mind, barely noticeable, something isn't quite right...
As those thoughts come they disappear just as quickly, nothing really sparking that sense of danger or flight or fight response. Swimming closer, the sea-scape becomes more noticeable. Those tree-sized strands of coral move and sway in the flow of the water. Sealife includes fish, and seahorses that come swirling and zooming past in and out of vision. Sandbed acts as ground or surface as Madeline and Lilian swim through the sea and toward the palace or temple. Setting foot on the sand suddenly they can walk as if gravity were perfectly fine and as they approach the doors of the building they open for the two visitors as if they are expected. Doors opening before them, Lilian and Madeline are greeted with a vision of grandeour. Wide, spacious halls that are carved from coral rock and lavastone. Swirls of color and growth splash and decorate the walls like some exotic decor. Following the hall continues for what seems like too long until they reach another grand door, this one even larger than the first. This one opens and reveals ... a grand hall. It's enormous - the as big as any throne room or kingly chamber. It's open - the floor pristine white marble carved with geometric designs. Strange beings half human and half fish yet not quite mermen or women - these dance and put on a display for a man who sits upon a throne of Seaweed. The man is excruciatingly beautiful, otherworldly so - enough to set even the coldest hearts beating. Eyes are like rainbow gems that glitter and sparkle. Silently this man gestures for Madeline and Lilian to join him, to join the celebration of their arrival.
There is definitely suspicion in Lilian's eyes but Lilian follows along, swimming after Madeline dressed only in her panties. Onsens do not turn into the little mermaid for no reason and Lilian is guarded, her sapphire eyes narrow. When the doors open and the man as beautiful as sin itself greets them, she tightens her hand on Madeline's wrist. "Care." She calls softly.
One cannot hide the nature of a being that is truly Fae. This man is one such, and his charm and his appearance scream it out to the world. Yet beyond even the most powerful of mortal and 'humane' beings - there's no sense of drain or leeching that comes from this man, beyond the fact that he seems ot have pulled both Lilian and Madeline here at his own behest and power, and for what reasons they do not know. Beyond that he seems amicable - friendly even in the way he waves them to join him up on the dais that holds his throne. [Ask / Probe / Attempts / Questions / etc. Will be addressed as presented!]
Madeline looks in awe as the doors open, the decor of the interior truly something to behold. Her eyes land on the man sat on the throne, his otherworldly beauty clearly distracting. As Lilian grips her wrist, she's brought back to a better sense of reality, heeding her with a cautious nod.
OOC: I will apologize for the prompt but I chose the one that wasn't just doom cult doing doom cult things! Please let me know if things reach anybody's line of comfort.
Lilian looks down, sweeping her gaze to the floor instead of risking making eye contact with the fae. Probably a true fae given the power it would've taken to bring them here from the onsen. Her hand tightens on Madeline's arm as they make their way slowly upwards but she doesn't make to be the first one to speak, waiting for the man to address them first
"Welcome, welcome!" The voice calls out with an undulation. It's melody, it's bass. It's sonorous like the sound of whales communicating and it soothes the ear like the voice of Morgan Freeman himself. His hands come together with two brisk claps that sound out with a loud stacatto. The hybrid beings smoothly shift from one sequence of dancing into the next; this one more sensual and suggestive as their bodies begin to move. Covered by clothing made from the bounty of the Ocean itself, both male and female forms seem lithe and flexible and humanoid enough to offer suggestion to the mind. Soft chimes seem to ring out through the area now, and the ebb and flow of water through conch shells the mount against the walls create a soothing yet eerie music that somehow seems in tune with the movements of the dancers and the sway of the sealife around them, even here. "Your arrival has been expected. Sit, and drink of my wine. This is freely given." A broad smile comes across the man's face. His skin is pale, yet also when he moves he cathches hints of that same irridescence. A wave of his hand - new chairs appear, a table and goblets. His words are clear, and simple. Chosen clearly to offer Lilian and Madeline a sense of safety in taking his offer.
"Are you offering venetian hospitality?" Lilian asks with a slight lift of her brow and a respectful bow of her head. "I must admit this was most... unexpected... Great...?" Her voice trails off, contrite which is rare for the vampress. Her fingers keep a firm grip on Madeline's wrist though and she makes no motion to take a glass.
Madeline makes no move to sit either, taking her queues from the clearly more experienced vampiress. She too bows, attempting to be as cordial as she can, given her state of dress.
Naked. The two girls are practically naked infront of the fae. Lilian doesn't slouch though, standing stiff and upright as if fully clothed
"No Game. No Bargain. A luncheon" This man offers in return, his own head tilting just so, enough to acknowledge Lilian's question. "Nautilus. You may call me Nautilus. And you are?" Whether the Fae knows of them or not, he seems genuine in his question of their names. Maybe he's left himself ignorant for the curiosity of it, and of course the nudity doesn't seem to bother the Fae much either. His eyes enjoy the pair of them rather lavishly as he once again gestures toward the chairs. "Please, take a seat, or I'll start to think you don't appreciate the hospitality!" His face is all smiles of course, but there's a hint of undertone to his voice as well. It might be wisest to take a seat after all, at the very least.
Madeline looks to Lilian, gaging her response before looking back to Nautilus. She cautiously moves to one of the chairs, nudging Lilian along with her as long as she holds her wrist.
"Lily." Lilian simply answers, looking at the seats before taking one. She sits upright with her knees crossed Infront of her, wearing her one thong as if it were a ball gown. Her dark purple hair floats in the water, strands of it drifting over her curves to both viel them and play hide and seek with the fae's eyes. "Thank you Nautilus. May I ask the purpose of inviting us here then?" She nods to Madeline after she's seated.
"It occurs once a year, a social visit. The waters always choose someone to visit me that has value, or interest. So I will ask of you Lily, what IS the purpose of your visit here this year?" He smiles kindly almost, which of course is in strange contrast to the usual nature of beings such as this one. However, today it seems is one for social niceties and luncheon rather than Games and brutality. Given the spacious yet ... now curiously empty feel to the place that surrounds them it suddenly dawns of Madeline or Lilian about what might be off about this whole thing, this whole place. It feels very empty, very lonely. Despite the very clear and potent nature of the Fae's power ... Lilian and Madeline get the impression that his yearly visit is the only company he sees, the only contact he has with anyone from outside this ... palace. In the mind, one might envision now being trapped in some kind of strange cosmic snow-globe ...
Lilian shares a look with Madeline and shrugs as she leans back in her chair. "We were simply relaxing and discussing girl... things when the water choose us." Her lashes sweep down, "Surely a topic too boring for a king."
Madeline gestures with her hand, waving it nonchalantly in front of her. "We are here because you've brought us here, and if not that, then perhaps we are here purely by chance?" She does take a look around, noticing the lack of anyone around.
Lilian looks forward at the beverages and food on offer Infront of them.
With a near-sultry kind of laugh, The man who calls himself Nautilus gives Lilian a charming smile and the flash of rainbow-hued eyes that follow the trails of hair that hides curves and shows them off all at the same time. His eyes curl from Lilian to Madeline and heis voice remains a soothing, sonorous melody. "Well, chance is something to be plucked and stroked until it hums exactly as you wish it to be. What are these girl things?" He does seem curious, perhaps too curious. Not through some sense of sinister means but because it might factually be something unknown for him. So isolated here, the man seems to search for and seek every morsel of new and interesting information that's sitting in front of him. The food before them is interesting fare. Sushi and nori, clams and mussels, all natural. The wine is a pale, green hue. Melony, something strange it tastes exotic but otherwise like normal wine.
Lilian delicately reaches out to take a mussel, eyeing it to see how it was prepared maybe as if she had doubts someone living under the water didnt just eat everything raw. "Ahh simple who likes who and who likes what up in our world up there." The vampiress gestures upwards. "And the folly of youth."
Madeline searches for some chop sticks, taking them to pick up a piece of sushi, inspecting it closely before eating it. She nods in agreement with Lilian, "I can't imagine you simply bring people here for gossip, now do you?"
"Gossip, trysts, whatever the mood strikes. Companionship can be a precious gift, when it so rarely tasted." Nautilus counters to Madeline as he offers another pleased smile as she and Lilian eat and drink and relax a little. He is quite the strange thing, not at all the usual harsh reality of many of the True Fae. But surely he's been sequestered away here in this horizon space for a reason. For the life of them, neither of these women can figure out what it is, though. For a time, they gossip with this being, eat and drink and share in the dancing and celebration. The time passes unseen and unfelt as if it were nothing. It seems ages and ages that they simply share in the purety of socialization. And it truly is the gossip and the triviality of the mundane and amazing alike that Nautilus seeks out. Each minute that passes sees his questions and follow-ups coming more urgently and with more desparation. It comes without warning, and without fanfare or spectacular array. With the blink of an eye ... Lilian and Madeline simply find themselves sitting in the steamy comfort of the Onsen. But something linger ... a woeful desire to experience that absolute purity once again. A small wonder that will never leave the back of the mind ever after - will you ever see that wonderous and strangely peaceful place again?
OOC: Thank you so much for attending! The prompt asked for a Romantic or Social encounter and I didn't want to get too fiesty! If you need a teleport when you head down, please let me know!

The Onsen, with its tranquil turquoise water, invites you to take a moment to relax and unwind. The steam rising from its surface creates a veil of mystery, adding to the enchantment of the garden. The Japanese maple tree, with its bare branches, stands as a symbol of resilience and strength, a reminder that even in the depths of winter, there is beauty to be found. A garden is a place where you can find solace and peace, a sanctuary from the chaos of the outside world. It is a place where you can reconnect with nature and find a sense of balance and harmony. The cold winter air, the clear night sky, the silvery moonlight, and the warm glow of the lanterns all come together to create a scene of breathtaking beauty. The garden is a place of contrasts, where the cold and the warmth, the light and the dark, the rugged and the delicate, all coexist in perfect harmony.
As you take in the beauty of the garden, you can't help but feel a sense of wonder and enchantment. The garden is a place where time seems to stand still, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find a moment of tranquility. The Onsen, the sparring area, the Japanese maple tree, and the lanterns all come together to create a scene that is both serene and magical. In this winter night, the garden is a hidden gem, a place where you can find peace and solitude. The steam rising from the Onsen, the gentle rustle of the wind through the bare branches of the maple tree, and the soft glow of the lanterns all work together to create a scene that is truly breathtaking. The garden is a place of beauty and tranquility, a sanctuary where you can find solace and peace. But these things are not always meant to last. The steam and the tranquility sees Madeline growing a little drowsy. The conversation between herself and her companion in the heated water seems to drift away from her conscious mind and they're soon fading away into metaphorical nothingness. It's almost as if Madeline begins to sink beneath the water of the tub, but there's no sense of fear or danger. In a drowsy, dreamy-like haze the woman seems to sink beneath the water that goes deeper and deeper than it should until she's all but transported in some strange fashion into a different kind of time and place.
