Overview
Little Alvin Reeves was named after the former Mayor, a man that Alvin's father, Frank?, greatly admired. Al, as he prefers to be called, prefers his father to the late Mayor Richardson. Little Al wants to be a police officer when he grows up, and doesn't understand why his father would rather him pursue a different line of work in a different town. Al's too young to care too much at the moment, though.
Roleplay Hooks
Honest
Al tells the truth, and nothing but. This has led him to a life of integrity, and he's mature for a boy his age, emotionally. While he isn't a tattler, he isn't willing to lie, not even for his best friend, Alice Swann. This has earned him a poor reputation with the older kids. It doesn't help that stress triggers his asthma, another reason not to lie.
Brave
Al's willing to stand up to older children. He does back down when it comes to teenagers and adults, especially supernaturals, but he'd stand up to any kid who messes with him or Alice, even if they're bigger and stronger. He's mostly trying to impress his father with this. He loves cowboy action figures, claiming they remind him of his dad and Uncle Jim, with the black hatted one his caricature of Uncle Paul.
Run!
Al's favorite word when a supernatural situation presents itself and his father or uncles aren't around to protect him. If he has a friend with him, he'll try to grab their hand and drag them along. His asthma usually stops him from getting too far, but hey, that's what hiding is for, right? He is afraid of being seen as a coward, though, especially to Alice.
