Declan Arkwright is Haven's most popular psychiatrist, if not by the locals, most certainly by the Founding Families. His method involves this sharp intensity. With legal guardianship of Lionel Arkwright, Declan is proving his worth in both his office and at home. Recently Declan has grown more pale, more tired, but his intensity itself hasn't faded, something his patients are sharp to notice. Some refer to this intensity as 'creepy'.

The Brand
Declan's brand is between his shoulderblades. He knows it's there, and he tries to ignore it, but doing so is easier said than done. While Declan isn't quite sure why the Ancestor would brand him, of all people, he lives with it in stride.
The Fangs
Declan has not been attacked by James much. He used to be, in his youth, a fact that has left his neck rather scarred, but nowadays, James has been more lenient. This has caused some of the Family to be jealous as to why, but Declan isn't telling.
The Horror
Because Declan spends as much time as he does with James, the older vampire's psychic feeding has taken it's toll on Declan's mind. He sees things sometimes, things he shouldn't see, but Declan's resolved to keep on keeping on. He will survive.
