The Hands Operation In Rhagost 240131
Under the shadow of a waning gibbous moon and amidst the tension in the Godrealms, a battle ensued for the custody of Staphylus, the knowledgeable demigod. The Hand's formidable machinations were matched by the determination of their virtuous opponents. Autumn's smoke concealment, Sarah's armed intervention, and Harriet's decisive leadership underpinned their gritty pursuit to safeguard the unconscious hulk that was Staphylus. With Autumn and Ryan heading to the corner, Sarah taking the path of the armed man in the suit, and others rallying towards the truck and sedan, the plaza became a strategic web of maneuvers and gunfire.
The heroic stand featured Samantha taking a sniper stance to knock Sarah out of her cover, Claire loosing arrows in earnest, and Jodie's transformation into a swift-moving wolf that dissolved all traces of her former self. As the fight grew fierce, Samantha’s grenade forced Sarah into exposure, and Claire's arrows missed their mark, allowing Harriet to strategize, focusing fire on taking down the opposition's cover while Alexander and Autumn contributed to the fray. Finally, with Jodie fading from the scene, the tied and unconscious demigod was secured by a drunk local. Amidst the chaos, Ryan's bandages, Harriet's cunning, and a concerted team effort turned the tide, with the Order emerging triumphant, illustrating the power of cooperation even amidst the fantastical turmoil of the Godrealms.
At Tue Jan 30 2024, in a town near Rhagost
Mission: Extract a tied up hulk of a man that seems to be passed out from the combat area and bring it to the extract point.
With Hell and the Other now clasped in the clenched fist, The Hand has set their sights on the Godrealms. They seek first to kidnap a local demigod, Staphylus, son of Silenus, with intimate knowledge of both, the area and the politics of the border region. A successful capture may well be the springboard the organization needs to start a full-scale invasion.
It is crucial to those of virtue in the Godrealms to stop the Hand from getting the intel advantage in the border region. In addition, it may prove very lucrative to anyone else who may either, indebt or kidnap Staphylus and take advantage of their wide network of information.

Sarah speaks into her earpiece, "...Roberts.", a path opens nearby after, a man in a suit stepping out with a briefcase, then methodically beginning to arm himself.
Harriet says, "Corner first," to the group, as she runs off.

Harriet sweeps over the area with her hazel eyes. "The only Hand member I see is Sarah. We should do our best to take her out," she expresses to Alexander, Autumn, and Ryan.

Samantha peers around the plaza and heads at a jog towards the east. "Looks like the doctor has the package already, although I don't see much backup for her."

Claire nods her head and says, "That is the long and short of it."
"Right on, Miss Harry." Ryan says as he looks down his scope at Sarah.

Since Harriet got yelled at for being to wavy last time at Samantha, this time she simply flips her off as she's running towards the corner. That isn't a wave at all. It's a one fingered salute.

Jodie(wolf) shifts mid-run, shedding her skin in a blurry conflagration. Instead of leaving behind a bunch of flesh and blood from the shedding, the remains just evaporate as soon as they leave her body.

Harriet explains to Alexander, "We have to get Sarah first, and then take what she is holding to the extraction point," and she nods to Ryan. "Yes, let's go for the truck."
Samantha crouches down as she dashes towards the sedan and Sarah, firing off bursts from her carbine as she goes and reaching into her harness for a grenade, tying it to the spear mounted underneath her gun.

Claire plants herself next to the sedan and shoots Samantha a thumbs up, calling out, "Lift with your legs! You've got this!"
Jodie(wolf) settles in at the sedan after that brief round of slaughter. She tilts her head up towards the night sky and the waning moon to howl a victory cry.

Harriet makes it to the truck. She gazes out at the intended point, and then looks back over at Samantha. "She has it, but we are well positioned," she tells Ryan, Autumn, and Alexander.
Samantha starts dragging the huge guy back towards the sedan, breathing heavily. She squints at Claire and makes a little more effort to lift with her legs.

Ryan says "We're in firing range of extraction, so do we park here and wait?"

Alexander says "They'd just hunker down for a draw."
Harriet ensures everyone is behind the truck with her. "It's a bit--" As Ryan mentions the bandages, she looks quite pleased, saying, "Good boy, Ryan. Good boy."
Alexander rolls his shoulders and stretches out. He checks his clip, flips off the safety of his handgun.
"Unless wolf decides to charge at us," Autumn says as she joins her group behind the truck.
Beaming as he checks his bandages and loads his gun, Ryan says well, I guess we'll see.
Claire gives Jodie(wolf) a nudge and says, "Don't get too excited. We we about to get swarmed by..." she squints off in the distance before continuing, "Harriet and three people that are not Harriet."
Alexander says "Shit, where'd my knife wind up?"
Harriet nods a bit to Ryan, listening to Autumn, checking in on Alexander. "Is it in your bag, by chance?"

Harriet ohs. "You are holding it," she tells Alexander.

Claire purses her lips and says, "If they are interested anyway. Hand losing is really the important thing here."
Ryan says "Your -other- left hand, my dude."
Jodie(wolf) chuffs at that then she drags a paw against the ground to score some deep claw marks into the soil, testing the terrain.
Harriet smiles quite suddenly.
Autumn smiles as well.
Harriet makes a soft little moan of a sound. Inappropriate.
Samantha nods in agreement with Claire, "Hate it when I get ganged up on y people that are not Harriet." She says, setting the large, unconscious man down against the Sedan. "I doubt they want to charge our position so probably trying to think about what they can do. Or waiting for more rowdy drunks to show up..."
Alexander grumbles towards Harriet.
Harriet peers out at the group. "Drunk locals are heading in towards them. Should we make a run for the sedan?" She looks for a vote from Ryan, Autumn, and Alexander.

"I feel kinda bad using a machine gun on rowdy drunks." Samantha admits as she fires off another burst and nods at Claire, "Yes ma'am, filled me right up with pride and patriotism and vim and other things oft hat sort."

The heroic stand featured Samantha taking a sniper stance to knock Sarah out of her cover, Claire loosing arrows in earnest, and Jodie's transformation into a swift-moving wolf that dissolved all traces of her former self. As the fight grew fierce, Samantha’s grenade forced Sarah into exposure, and Claire's arrows missed their mark, allowing Harriet to strategize, focusing fire on taking down the opposition's cover while Alexander and Autumn contributed to the fray. Finally, with Jodie fading from the scene, the tied and unconscious demigod was secured by a drunk local. Amidst the chaos, Ryan's bandages, Harriet's cunning, and a concerted team effort turned the tide, with the Order emerging triumphant, illustrating the power of cooperation even amidst the fantastical turmoil of the Godrealms.
At Tue Jan 30 2024, in a town near Rhagost
Mission: Extract a tied up hulk of a man that seems to be passed out from the combat area and bring it to the extract point.
With Hell and the Other now clasped in the clenched fist, The Hand has set their sights on the Godrealms. They seek first to kidnap a local demigod, Staphylus, son of Silenus, with intimate knowledge of both, the area and the politics of the border region. A successful capture may well be the springboard the organization needs to start a full-scale invasion.
It is crucial to those of virtue in the Godrealms to stop the Hand from getting the intel advantage in the border region. In addition, it may prove very lucrative to anyone else who may either, indebt or kidnap Staphylus and take advantage of their wide network of information.

Beaming as he checks his bandages and loads his gun, Ryan says well, I guess we'll see.
Claire gives Jodie(wolf) a nudge and says, "Don't get too excited. We we about to get swarmed by..." she squints off in the distance before continuing, "Harriet and three people that are not Harriet."
