"What brought me to town? El Paso's nice and it was nicer to be so close to the family I grew up with, but sometimes you just got to move on. I ran with the El Paso chapter of The Order for years, damn near since the day I was discharged, but everyone knows the biggest, quietest war in history isn't going to come to a point on the border. The lid's gonna blow here, in bum-fuck Massachusetts, so that's where I'm gonna be. Right where I'm needed."

ø Trained - Despite his appearance now, any who've seen Bastian in action know he operates at the highest level of military training available in the Western world.
ø Biker - Given that it's such a small and ultimately inconsequential section, not many are familiar with the El Paso chapter of The Order, but they're known to have publicly fronted as an outlaw motorcycle club since the Vietnam War. Bastian very much still wears these colors openly, and with pride.
ø Soft-Hearted - Not just in it for the bigger picture, Bastian has a habit of getting caught up with the more mundane social crisis, especially those created along the U.S. southern border.
