+What I'm Doing in Haven+Brad tells everyone he is in Haven on some kind of financial investment speculation business, usually drowned in so much finance bro corporate speak as to make what he is actually doing difficult to parse out. In fact, he's in Haven because he is in trouble, a lot of trouble, and he's trying to avoid some final end to his problems. +Where I fit in a Supernatural World+Brad was initiated into the practice of magic while an undergraduate, and as an adult he has largely used it to get his way, especially with women. One mind-controlled one night stand too many and he was hauled before a tribunal of the all-woman occult faction known as the Coven. Some advocated for his death, but friends were able to bargain that into a commutation of some servitude to female witches in Haven. Of course, the society of those sorceresses collapsed shortly after his arrival -- so it's very unclear what will satisfy the Coven other than his blood. +RP Notes+Brad is a douchebag in high bro style, who is set up as a character to get his comeuppance for the way he treats people, especially women. He will antag characters if he can, but his story is one that leaves him vulnerable to antag and that's an expected part of the character. Particularly, he's vulnerable to strong women turning the table on him, and he's afraid of being seen as 'feminine' or 'weak.' Scenarios involving helplessness, enslavement, body modification, humiliation and mind control are all right in line for this character, especially as revenge for the casual misogyny of his life. | |
