Before Haven: Kaity grew up on the shores of the upper peninsula of Michigan, part of a larger family stretching the Great Lakes region and into Canada. Her life was fairly normal, all things considered; big friend circle, indecisive with college tracks, and a general dread about 'making it' afterwards. Luckily, that family had business in Haven, and sent their fledgeling graduate out to handle it in person. Tasked with clearing up some affairs of a distant relative, Kaity set out for the east coast with nary a real concern.
Since Arrival in Haven: Those affairs have turned into a bit of a side project, with Kaity investigating into some of her relative's research--just out of curiosity, of course. She's also made a few friends, filling that social hole in her heart from where her friends have scattered across the country, going about their own adult lives.

Personality Hook: Compassionate To A Fault - Kaity has a hard time not being understanding and compassionate towards those around her. She may be sarcastic or unhappy, but she tries to put others first.
Goals Hook: Unearthing Mysteries - Since coming to Haven, she's encountered a variety of unexpected facts about the world around her. She's curious--not dangerously so, but enough to end up in questionable situations, in search for answers.
