Rhett Salte
The prodigal grandson of Wilbur Salte left behind a reputation for having been a teenage troublemaker, prone to shoplifting and stealing cars or boats around town. Over a decade ago, Frank Reeves hauled the boy off to a Navy recruiter's office, and he hadn't been seen since. As it happened, the Navy didn't pan out for Rhett. Wherever he's been for the past fifteen years, he doesn't seem much inclined to talk about it, but it seems to have cured him of his rowdiness. Mostly. Rumors about his long absence vary wildly, but most seem to involve a stint as a military contractor. Whatever he was doing, he doesn't seem especially proud of it. He's more recently been affiliated with environmental activists and treasure hunters.
