(A battle in the Nightmare)

It is afternoon, about 50F(10C) degrees, and there are a few dark grey stormclouds in the sky.
Lenny glances around, his eyes unable to pierce the darkness of the nightmare to find anyone other than Vindicta nearby, "Well we didn't have to go far for that."
"Look like not," Vindicta agrees, hefting her rifle onto her shoulder and settling her shield onto her offhand wrist. When she notices Victor, she brightens up visibly, the little albino standing on her toes and waving at the man. "Hi! Victor!"
Berlin sighs, muttering a exasperated curse under his breath. "I was just making dinner."
Lenny looks towards Victor when Vindicta names him, he seems interested to get a look at him then he says, "Yo this is Victor, the one with the hot-wife." his words are crass, rude, not really something any normal respectable human being should say upon meeting someone else. "I'm Lenny."
"Salve, piccola. Conglione," Valerie extends toward someone and Lenny, expeling out a soft sigh as the latter is his very charming self. She glances around, working her fingers through her disheveled hair, not quite awake.

"Hello, little spirito." Victor calls to Vindicta while stepping forward and out of the shadows, manifesting right beside her while fixing his half-mask over his mouth properly. There is a metallic tinge to his voice, something straight from his throat that is modulated by his mouth-piece. Lenny is given a sideway glance through icy eyes as his own rifle is hefted up and stock put against his shoulder in preparation, a bolt pulled to feed a missle into it. He doesn't answer, but he does chuckle when Valerie joins on his side. "Si, amore. What a way."
Lenny sneers to himself when someone makes a point of not answering his rude comment. Valerie arrives in the meantime and he gives her a subtle upnod and says, "Hey babe." in an overly familiar way. He should be more focused on whatever threat is outside of their little group but he's not right now.

"What did this motherfucker just say?" Victor sets those icy eyes back on Lenny
"Wonder who grab," Vindicta says to Lenny as she leans in against him, keeping her rifle in a safe but ready position as her pallid gaze sweeps through the nightmare in search of the group of Templars' prey, though when Lenny opts to make a donkey of himself, the petite albino immediately slides away from his vicinity, likely expecting Victor ah, there it is. She puts a great deal of distance between herself and the men at this juncture, clearing her throat and continuing her search.
"What did this motherfucker just say?" Victor sets those icy eyes back on Lenny, and something moves within their core. Narrowing just as the colour of the intensifies, catches a stray glare from a nightmarish apparition's light passing overhead.
Valerie heaves a slow, tired sigh when Lenny chooses to speak to her so familiarly. She automatically hooks her arm into Victor's to keep him anchored to her side, instead redirecting her attention to Vindicta. "I wonder who we'll be fighting," she says sternly, efforting to drive the conversation back to the reason they're all here with Vindicta.
"I said your wife has a nice ass." Lenny tells Victor, swelling up his chest to square up with his 'ally' rather than worry about the outside threat. All Valerie said to try to excuse him has gone out the window as he snerks at Victor, adjusting his grip on his machete to be ready with it. "It's just a compliment, you got a problem?"
Berlin gives a frown at Lenny, shaking his head with a chuckle under his breath. He moves closer to the fight, thumb moving to check the safety on his weapon.
Berlin fades out of the nightmare.
Berlin shakes his head. "Don't look at me," he calls out, working the bolt of his rifle. "I hate this shit. I didn't call any of us here."
