Patrollogs
(Jericho's big game hunt)

In The Forest
It is morning, about 21F(-6C) degrees, and the sky is covered by dark grey stormclouds. It's snowing. Ankle high mist flows through the area.
Evelynn glances to Jericho just as the tree in the forest to the south begins to move strangely, outing itself as a monster. "Did you forget armor?" she ask bluntly in a mildly raspy voice.
Jericho moves through the forest and looks over at Evelynn as he emerges nearby from the foliage. At a response to her question he just turns towards the sounds in the brush south of them and begins to tread in that direction... As he walks his form begins to contort, the snapping of bones and tearing of flesh audible, a shudder running through him from the agony of the transformation.
Evelynn wrinkles her nose at the sight of the wolf but follows along anyways. She adjust her grip on her broadsword and appears to lack any ranged option so she just moves along, marching ever closer to the tree
"You could smell less..canine." Evelynn states to Jericho(wolf) with a hint of hostility. She has a look on her face like she's geninunely catching the scent of something that does not sit well with her.
Jericho(wolf) pads through the forest towards the Ent, occasionally casting a glance towards Evelynn, not seeming to move with her, merely in the same direction, keeping his distance from her as though she's little less a threat than the creature they both move towards.
Evelynn appears to tire of the creeping forward and she begins to charge ahead to get nearer the tree creature faster than Jericho(wolf) unless he picks up the pace.
Drawing closer to the creature, Jericho(wolf) begins to lower himself towards the ground as he moves, crouching as though preparing for a sudden burst of speed, his attention fixated on the Ent still.
Evelynn chops at the tree as if she was chopping wood with the broadsword. It's not fancy, it doesn't need to be. The tree is mostly concerned with the wolf attacking it.
Jericho(wolf) slips to the side as the ent's limb comes smashing down, splintering a fallen log where he'd been. He circles the creature as he can, avoiding Evelynn and her shadowy servant, though seeming little more enthused about them than he is the ent.
