In the Treehouse cafe at Serenity Grove
Cradled lovingly in the branches of the massive oak, This large treehouse serves as a great hotspot for those visiting the gardens below. Surrounded by clear glass windows framed in a double layer of silken and woolen drapes perfect for every season, it provides a breathtaking view of the entire surrounding landscape whether stopping by for a quick snack or a refreshing drink, or just to meet and mingle with other visiters and friends. Comfortable light-padded chairs carved from a soft light wood sit around three round tables spaced evenly to one side of the treehouse, opposite a small serving counter housing a variaty of snacks, a medium-sized glass door fridge cooling a number of drinks, a juicing machine and an electric kettle for making and serving hot beverages. Sitting between them across from the door is a plush padded deep blue couch, large enough to comfortably seat three or four people without being crammed together.
It is night, about 47F(8C) degrees, and the sky is partly covered by dark grey stormclouds. There is a last quarter moon.
Gabriella takes her newfound dagger into a more or less reclusive cafe, and there she sits down on a couch - not to order something, but to carefully start inspecting her cursed finding.
There is no point in lamenting what is - Gabriella is on her own for this ritual, and the curse in the knife is being more agitated - she cannot wait any longer. With a silent sigh, the girl holds the dagger by the bone part, one hand covering it and the right one covering the left. After a suspicious glance around, she closes her eyes and concentrates.
Growing air pressure makes your ear's pop uncomfortably and deadens all sound.
The artifact emits a flash of blinding light.
Gabriella moves her jaws as the air pressure starts annoying her ears, and then shuts her eyes hard, her face contorting, as light manages to affect her even with her eyelids closed.
For several seconds the room grows painfully hot.
Gabriella struggles and sweats, for a moment almost decided to let go of the dagger to remove her sweater, but she ends up enduring it and just holding the item hard on her hands.
Growing air pressure makes your ear's pop uncomfortably and deadens all sound.
Gabriella wimpers and almost sobs as the pressure this time actually makes her ears hurt. But if she enduring this so far, she keeps testing her will against the curse that is trying so hard to convince her to drop the dragger.
With a final burst of power the curse on a bone dagger is broken.
