In the Eastern Bathroom of House Repentan`ce
The communal bathroom is large enough to accommodate multiple sisters at once, lined with individual white marble vanity stations, each complete with a well-lit mirror and an under-sink cabinet for personal toiletries. The azure blue and white theme continues here, with plush white towels and azure bathmats positioned at each station.
Enclosed shower stalls, ensuring privacy, with frosted glass doors and rain showerheads offering a spa-like experience. A freestanding bathtub, perhaps rarely used but meticulously maintained, occupies a discrete corner beneath a frosted window, providing a haven for relaxation. White roses, the sorority's chosen flower, find their place here too, with fresh bouquets arranged on the countertops, their fragrance subtly permeating the space.
It is about 50F(10C) degrees.
Gabriella finds a necklace abandoned in the showers, and once she reaches for it she realizes it is cursed - she is starting to recognize the signs for things like this! She rinses fast and steps out of the showers, fires up a text message and then prepares to dry and dress up - she needs to tackle this curse before it starts doing mean things to her.
Gabriella manages to goad her friend into joining her, but she does not wait... while waiting for her to arrive, Gabriella sits down on her bed and holds the necklace in her hand, checking its beads and trying to come up with a plan on how to tackle this curse.
"made of bone, I think... but, hm, you're too small for a necklace, huh? Maybe you're just an anklet, or a large bracelet... yeah, a bracelet with two rounds, I suppose" Gabriella mutters, stupidly talking to herself as she checks out her new find.
For several seconds the room grows painfully cold.
Gabriella stands up and walks over to the door, opens it and tells Olivia "Come on in!"
A section of Olivia's clothing catches fire.
As soon as Gabriella closes the door, the bracelet she's holding glows and Olivia's leather strands catch fire! "Take those off!" Gabriella jumps to Olivia's rescue.
Olivia hurries in as a couple of girls from the hall wish her a mocking goodbye, face wearing as much a blush as it is the signs of excitement despite herself. Olivia lets out a shriek and hurriedly and quickly slings off her bracelet and hair ties to the floor. "Oh my fucking God, the curse is real!"
Gabriella stomps all over the leather strands that Olivia tosses down, hand still clutching on the bracelet, while telling her "sorry it's so damn cold in here, I think it's the stupid curse... maybe open that window for me?" she asks Olivia, who's... quite naked now - she came into Gabriella's room 'dressed' like that?
All metal objects in the room are suddenly tugged violently towards the artifact.
Olivia did warn Gabriella that her hunt for clothes from the other day was not very successful. She crosses the room and struggles to open the window, but manages to get a frost breath of fresh air rolling across her bare skin. "Oh my God!" she cries out again as the metal is tugged toward some artifact and she herself is forced to duck to the floor for cover. "What IS going on?!"
Gabriella isn't able to reply to Olivia, because as some of her metal is tugged towards the bracelet Gabriella is holding in her hand, some weird electronic instrument Gabriella had over her desk also gets attracted, hitting Gabriella's arm, and making her cry, "OWW!"
"What is going on with that thing?!" Olivia calls from her egg-like position down on the floor, dodging the flurry of objects that may already be over. "Do we need to run that thing out to the beach and throw it in the ocean or something?"
For several seconds the room grows painfully hot.
"Ha, no chance I'm gonna let this thing gOOW!" Gabriella replies to Olivia just before letting the bracelet go as it gets painfully hot and burns her hand. But Gabriella rushes to crouch and grabs it again, taking one of her slippers and using it as a makeshift glove. "Once I get rid of this curse this thing's gonna be worth something..."
"Well we can't uncurse it here, this is your bedroom! It's gonna catch the whole house on fire," Olivia gasps as she moves for the window, half-hanging out the damn thing as the room heats to painful degrees. "We've got to take it somewhere!"
As Olivia flashes the campus with her naked chest, Gabriella reaches for her phone and does what she should have right from the start. "I have a new frequencies app... you're gonna see, it's gonna crack the curse" she claims, and turns some weird app on the phone, and then presses the bone beads of the bracelet against the colored screen.
With a final burst of power the curse on a bone bracelet is broken.
