(Harriet's bribery attempt)

On Warden's Way Piercing the Wood to Reveal the White Oak Institute
Smooth asphalt roads continue through this part of town, bordered on either side by well maintained concrete sidewalks. Where the street is widest small median islands appear with old twisted trees planted in them. The buildings that line the street seem quaint, but well maintained.
It is morning, about 23F(-5C) degrees, and there are a few dark grey stormclouds in the sky.
Harriet parked her car, headed off to the Atm, and then returned, offering up Novel a nod before she slips the psychiatrist some cash and has a quiet word with them.
Harriet steps back from someone and then checks something on her phone.
Novel gives Harriet an absent-minded nod, stuffing the fresh warm bills into a coat-pocket as he wanders on over towards the psychiatrist in question. "Hey buddy. You know how it is. People SAY they see stuff when all they need is some goddamn pills. I mean, I used to be on that, chatting about - demons, and the devil made me do it and all that other shit." The man mentions as he steps over to the psych and casually slings a shoulder over the man with a deep, languid, and almost bored expression twisting his lips. But the way he leans, the way he sets his hand on the man's shoulder and the subtle way the grip tightens around the shoulder, implicit threat without overt threat and the grin on his features.
"Now we can both go back and forth on it but - it's Christmas! I'm handing out gifts. You're a lucky guy, and you just need to keep up the good work of making sure everyone in this town is fucking... sensible and healthy. Right? And, really, revolutions around workers happen all the time. Remember how the medical CEO got shot recently? Got caught by some fucking dude in McDonalds. Disgruntled people leading revolutions, and plenty of people can get guns. You don't need people making up conspiracies about fucking - what was it? Telportation and shit? C'mon. Dumb."
Novel was apparently talking to an NPC that's already gone, huh ok.
Harriet glances about the area as the psychiatrist seems to have fled before his time, and the other man heads off in his convertible.
Harriet raises both of her eyebrows, and offers up a polite nod of greeting to Benjamin.
Harriet looks to actually be thriving, despite the weather, and simply peers back at him, but only for a moment. She stands there, waiting for the already fled psychiatrist to make his decision from afar.
