"Obviously it would be in the interest of the Temple to help a rag tag band of humans to fight off their fae oppressers." Jodie tells the rep after she steps in, she looks mighty bored by doing this. "But, you do you."
Beau walks in and then he glances over to Jodie again, and he blinks saying, "We meet again, my friend." his heaed nodding in a casual gesture, before he takes off his glasses and starts towards the representative, sticking out his hand for a greeting. "Ah, hello there. How are you?"
"Yeah.." Jodie replies to Beau, she checks her phone then says, "Enjoy. I got something to do."
"Beau," Solomon tells Beau. "It's good to see you." He glances between Beau and the representative. "You're handling the issue?" he wonders of the young man.
Beau nods a little and says, "At the moment, yes. Though it sort of depends on if a high roller walks on in here, but for now? it seems to be all in hand. I'm not sure how well we'll do this time." He He takes out a slip of paper and starts to write things down, passing it over to the representative of The Lost.
Solomon nods to Beau. "Well," he says. "I suppose I'm a high roller, but then we're all on the same side, aren't we?" He looks at representative of The Lost. "We both support the cause of those we represent," he explains to the man. "The deals we offer: they are more than mortal," he explains.
"I approve of your chain," Solomon tells Beau.
Beau looks down at the chain at his throat before he holds it up, and turns it to show the demon's head on the back of the pendant. "I thought it was fitting for our cause. Plus well, it's something I had considered to be a pretty visible sign of what I think when it comes to this town. Fuck the people who want all this pretty love and light shit. Well... not that, but I'm not playing by conventions at least. You can appreciate that, mm?"
Beau shrugs a little then before he glances back at the rep and he says, "How well do you think we'll do?"
"I am confident well," Solomon tells Beau. "They need what we desire."
shrugs and then he agrees, "very true, very true, it's something that should work well for us, in the long run. How has your business treated you?" Beau asks, and then he wonders, "Also have you had any strange dreams?"
"Mmm. I often have dreams," Solomon shares with Beau. "The older I get -- and it has been a long time, now -- they more and more wondrous they become."
Solomon adds to Beau, "I had a ritual that needs performing. I would like you to assist me: tonight, perhaps."
Beau nods slowly, and he says, "Well, perhaps we should talk about at some point, mm?" He frowns in thought. "The dreams. And I'm free to assist you. perhaps it'll be a good introduction on... how this whole arrangement will work."
"I would like that conversation." Solomon glances back at representative of The Lost, impatient. "We are the power," he offers him. "Come now."
