(Novel's nightmare battle with Euphemia)
[Tue Jan 21 2025]
Outside Unit 103 at the Elm Street Apartment Complex
It is about 50F(10C) degrees.
Novel says "What the everloving - oh."
Running his fingers through sopping wet hair, Colton shakes himself off a little as he peers into the nightmare. "Was having a shower when I heard," he grunts. "You attacking or getting attacked?"
Euphemia says "Oh... Again? really?"
Sam says "... Huh."
Colton says "Think I smell Rashid."
"I have no fucking clue," Novel answers Colton bluntly. "I was out driving my car, parked, then my head hit the fucking steering wheel - I THINK it's me? It's hard to fucking tell sometimes."
Sam says "Lovely. Hm. "
Lark says "To Rashid What the hell"
Sam says "Awh, c'mon, Euphie, seriously?"
"Let's just hope you didn't run into a wall, then," Colton smirks Novel's way. "Or, you know, a passing child." He nods his head back at Sam, too. "This is sounding like it's going to be a fun one, at least."
Novel says "Well, hopefully we don't all get blasted by the president decided to fart so hard it resonates the entire Nightmare."
Novel says "That's what I bet happened last time. Trump gas."
Euphemia says "Ha. Is that Sam? Aren't you tired of getting your butt kicked?"
Lark looks confused, but watches Euphemia and Rashid.
Sam says "Oh, I got backup this time! "
Novel leers back at Colton. "Honestly, hitting a wall sounds like fun. All those fires and screams and crashing - but yeah, I don't want to hit a kid, that'd be fucked."
Colton says "So they've got Euphemia and Rashid and someone else."
Rashid says, via phone, "Very good."
Sam says "Right. I have a full bar to get back to, let's make this nice and snappy, yeh?"
Rashid says, via phone, "Well most of us that were in that bar are here now."
Stretching slightly, Sam cracks his knuckles.
Sam says "Awh, shaiiite."
Colton says "Damn, Sam, fucking up your own clientele."
Colton says "I was actually just in the shower about to head over to the bar myself."
Novel says "Maybe you should offer free drinks if you give them too many bruises."
Sam says "Well, at least Castiel isn't here this time."
Novel says "Only if you win, though."
Novel says "Yeah me and Sam versus Castiel and Euphie... Castiel was beating our fucking heads in."
Rashid says, via phone, "If we are the ones assaulting, may I remind you to give us a warning so that we can coordinate and amass more soldiers, Euphemia?"
Euphemia says "Hey, I was beating Sam."
Colton says "Yeah, well, he's an angel."
Sam says "Were you though, euphie? WERE YA THOUGH?"
Euphemia says "Yes. You are so cute when you're bloody."
Chuckling, Sam makes sure to add an extra thick new york twinge to his accent. "Yeh, yeh, would love to see it."
Shifting his weight from foot to foot, Colton says, "I'm ready to throw down already, god damn."
With a nimble shift of her stance, Euphemia took several light steps backward, each motion airy and springing as if she were dancing across clouds. In one fluid movement, her bow was in her hands, arrow already nocked and drawn back. As she reached the apex of her final skip, Euphemia released the string, sending the arrow soaring toward Sam with an elegant, confident precision. The soft bounce of her retreat contrasted with the sudden, decisive shot, creating a moment where she seemed weightless yet undeniably lethal. At that moment, her entire body flared in a sudden, dazzling flash, as though the sun itself had burst forth from her form. The overwhelming radiance forced anyone nearby to shield their eyes, momentarily blinded by the brightness.
Letting out a hiss, Sam turns, and aims at Lark, then smirks. "Aight, let's fucking go."
Rashid says, via phone, "This might be a worthy battle."
"Fucking silver," Colton hisses, recoiling a little from Euphemia's blade before turning on her with a fierce scowl.
Lark growls at Sam, trying to sprint away.
Euphemia winks at Colton
Rashid says, via phone, "Oh, nevermind, that feels a bit dishonorable."
Novel winks at Rashid as he hits the man in the fist, causing his swings to go wild. Then he laughs.
Colton says "Put your damn phone down and fight, Rashid."
Answering Lark's growl, Sam points a finger, blood leaking into Lark's eyes.
Colton says "Honestly, young men these days."
Rashid says, via phone, "Where do you see my sword?"
Euphemia fades out of the nightmare.
Novel ignores someone, calmly brushing aside her blade with his own and focusing his efforts on Rashid with violent, aggressive energy, hack after hack, as if simply trying to hew his way through the blade directly. No subtlety at all.
Novel ignores the fading woman, calmly brushing aside her blade with his own and focusing his efforts on Rashid with violent, aggressive energy, hack after hack, as if simply trying to hew his way through the blade directly. No subtlety at all.
Novel rounds on Lark as someone jumps after someone, ignoring the pair in favor of the nearer man to slam into Lark's side.
Giving Novel a nod, Sam grins wide. "Hey there."
Novel rounds on someone as the other man jump off to fight, focusing on the new target. He winks at Sam.

Novel simply stays where he is - firing a bolt loaded with some noxious black vial directly into Lark at range, thunking in place and pumping poison directly into her.
Rashid says, via phone, "Congratulations on your victory."
Novel remarks to Sam with a flashing grin, "My kill."
Rashid fades out of the nightmare.
Sam says "Good fight, lads."
