(Novel's bargaining)

It is about 50F(10C) degrees.
Peyton strolls in with a plate full of cookies and a neat little folder filled with documents and who knows what. She first passes off the cookies with a warm smile and a sneaky wink, then offers the folder. "I think we can find some initiatives to work together on, and ways to keep the peace and keep y'all out of trouble." She says, in a careful tone.
Novel studies Peyton with a twist of his head, his expression wan and looking distinctly ill. There's a furrowing of the brow as he takes a moment to brush off the snow from outside, shaking it off and then eventually offering a shrug as he strolls right into the room. He doesn't even say anything, he just sort of flops down into a chair and rolls on backwards, lazing about like a hooligan and offering up a, "Sup, Emma?" And a nod to Emmelline as they walk in.
Emmelline walks in, and hands over her portfolio to representative of The Black Circle, saying a few quiet words of introduction to them. That done, she smiles over at Peyton. "Oh hello, we meet again!," she says, her tone cheerful. She extends a polote nod to Novel, but doesn't otherwise engage him.
Emmelline makes a face at Novel's words to her. "yeah dude, never eating your chocolate again! Worst mistake ever! That chilli was like repeating on me."
Peyton does a little spin and strikes a pose, making a V sign near her face as she kicks up a leg dramatically. "We're just out here negotiating for world peace." She says, with a toss of her hair back over her shoulder. "Peyton Bennett, Miss unity and diplomacy." She says, as if she were introducing herself to the room.
"It's that lingering BURN. The fats and oils in the chocolate mingle up with the capsican and oils in that, and then it combines with the fat in your mouth because it's oil-solvable and not water-solvable." Novel leers up at Emmelline. "And I ate a dozen of them before I even got there, it was delicious." He gives Peyton a bemuses expression. Then he looks at the Black Circle rep who has an organization that literally sacrifices babies. He looks back at Peyton. "Novel," He says, with a faintly disbelieving look at her.
'Yeah well never again!," Emmelline says with a huff to Novel. Back to Peyton she asks, "Were you able to get all the baking done that you had planned?""
Peyton echoes, "Like, a book?" managing to mentally shrug off the rest of what Novel said with effortlessly blonde abandon. Then she turns back to Emmelline, dusting some flour off of her skirt, indeed there is flour there to dust off. "Oh yes, I decided to head into my secret workshop instead of doing it at home. More ingredients." She dazzles with the kind of smile that practically has it's own lighting department.
"Ah I see," Emmelline says with a nod and a shrug. "I never asked, do you have your own shop around here or something?"
"The toasted pistacho and pumpkin seeds MADE it. And it needed the chili. You should have taken the caramel, that was all sweet. Passionfruit." Novel chatters easily with Emmelline as he finishes rambling around food as he slouches back in his chair, looking sick. "Yeah, like a book. Or something new. You can call me Blender instead if it makes you fucking feel better." He hitches his shoulders up in a casual shrug. "So here to spread some Unity with the Blacks?"
Peyton nonchalantly inspects her fingernails and buffs a bit of said flour out of them as she considers. "Oh yes, just around the corner from here. Oh, For Heaven's Cake!." She says, letting her southern accent out a little for a stroll as she says the name theatrically. She shrugs her shoulders at them and smiles at the representative wanly. "I think communication and moderation are good first steps." She says to everyone present.
The representative of The Black Circle decides to support Spears of the Sea.
'Oh that's your place?," Emmelline asks, her expression brightening. "I oh I love that place. I'm so glad to hear it." As the rep makes up their mind, she smiles. "Well it's been fun," she says grinning."
