In Town Hall Southern Meeting Room
It is about 50F(10C) degrees.
Upnodding to Beau, Ryan says, "Sup, my dude?"
Beau steps into the area, and nods to Ryan even as he pulls out some money and approaches one of the guards, slipping them some money and nodding his head.
"Who do you think it is?" Ryan asks as he casually leans against the wall.
Beau nodsa as he makes a bi after slipping the man fifty bucks, nodding his head before he holds up a hand, indicating an amount when recognized. To Ryan, he shrugs. "But Eh, I dunno... We'll see though." His shoulder rolls vaguely.
Beau shrugs, after a moment and asks Ryan, "How've you been doing. I've not seen you in a little bit. You've been doing well?"
"Oh yeah, my man. Been doing great. Got engaged and everything." Ryan says with a big grin, "Been hitting the books a ton lately and taking some long naps through the winter. It's cold as balls out here."
At the mention of engagement, Beau brightens and he arches a brow, "Look at you dude, getting married and all that. Congrats and everything. Let me know when the wedding is, so I can throw you a gift."
"Hell yeah, I think we're doing it on Valentine's Day or whatevs." Ryan says with a shrug, "I dunno, she's more in charge of it all, but I'm pretty happy." Ryan shrugs to Beau, "Not a bad way to spend the winter, you know? All the ice and snow, it's nice to just stay in under a bunch of blankets and watch the TV or something."
"That'd be nice, but I'm single yet again, and I'm alright with it, though it makes me grumpy," Beau mentions with a shrug. "Then again, it's also kind of freeing too. Still, there's some I'd like to pursue. But, eh. I'm not great material, so I get it." He waves a hand vaguely.
gesturing the others out of the space, Beau turns tolook at Declan with a cant of his head and a step forward, nodding his head as he mentions, "You are....?" his tone curious even as he assesses the other man. "I've seen you before here and there."
Coming to, Declan blinks once, first at the presence of light and then at Beau, realizing his predicament. A soft grumble, but he must roll with it. "Hayes, Declan."
considers Declan before he gives a nod. "Alright. Well, We have a series of options here, and I am open to two of them, and a third is if we reach an impass. The first, we consider giving a blood donation, which I like the idea of doing," Beau says, then he shrugs. "The second, you give me whatever information you have. Something I can sell, or use, provided it's a substantial amount, and the third is the classic, I'll use you to gain some useful, energies for you. I'd like to avoid that last one. So, which will it be, mm?" Beau wonders of Declan.
"You seem familiar," Declan eventually realizes, peering up at Beau, though when it's time to give an answer he looks away with a purse of lips. "Not certain I have anything useful for you. Blood type O." He rattles that off by habit, even though such typologies aren't important here.
"I'm glad we could come to an agreement," Beau mentions, walking over to his cabinet and taking out a needle and the required equipment for a blood draw. "He's real casual about it, doesn't even look aggressive. "My father was a big fan of The Temple, and I'd like to respect what you do. I also want to keep decent ties. So, I'm glad we can do this in an easy non aggressive manner."
With that, he sits down, wraps a band around the man's arm and starts looking for a vein. "
"You gave decent outs," says Declan, clearly discontent about his unfortunate, Syndicate-napped state. But that's how it is in Haven, all the security and someone with a dart can still sneak into your house. "So you chose to play teen rebel?" He can clearly see that Beau is no teenager, but he's the older man still, if not by far.
"I wish it was that simple," Beau says with a shrug. "rebel is my uncle paulie, he started out that way, Me... it wasdifferent, though it maybe started out that way." Beau finds a vein and puts his thumb on it gently before he gets a swab from a kit and disinfects the area before he comments, like he's familiar with all of this, "Little poke."
Then he's chatting on. "You? did you have someone important die, soime ideology? How'd you wind up taking down people you think are monsters?" his tone careful.
