On Warden's Way Piercing the Wood to Reveal the White Oak Institute
Smooth asphalt roads continue through this part of town, bordered on either side by well maintained concrete sidewalks. Where the street is widest small median islands appear with old twisted trees planted in them. The buildings that line the street seem quaint, but well maintained.
It is afternoon, about 50F(10C) degrees, and the sky is covered by dark grey stormclouds.
Sam says "Already dealt with, I presume?"
Casually, Sam gestures to medical examiner.
Lanaeis says "I suppose it is now."
Once more does the way lead on towards a specific person just outside of the clinic. Once more is Ritsuka there with a particular envelope for someone. Something happened again, by accident, and it needs to be handled, paid off and taken care about, and so, Ritsuka makes her way on over towards medical examiner. The weather is by far not where one may like it to be, making it colder, and it looks like rain, so this is best handled quickly with a white dress that would turn see-through far too soon.
Of course, there is then also other people, Sam and Lanaeis and Evan, but she just passes the envelope over to medical examiner "This should suffice, mister. The report will be handled, I presume?" And this right after Lanaeis.
A glance is given to Ritsuka. Sam speaks simply. "You dropped something in my place." He smiles. "I've seen it to the Goblin Market. Are we going down this route?" He pockets his hands casually.
A sigh, and Sam pulls a knife from a hidden sheath. "Use your words, now." He seems quite at ease, even if a sickly sunlight seems to ooze from his form as he steps up closer to Ritsuka.
Lanaeis says "Excellent. "
There is no more than shifting as Ritsuka(Kitsune) had now pulled Sam into the nightmare. What patience there had been before had faded, and it does go on right out of the gate. A claw rises, and blue foxfire draw along her claw as she slashes for Sam.
A deep sigh, and, unarmored, Sam brings his knife up. "I know you think I owe you all this and that. But the fact is, your boy keeps disrespecting The Hand." He twists the blade as it impacts against someone' wakizashi. "If you want to solve this with a War, so be it."

The kitsune makes a few steps to the side. It does not even take any effort to evade and dodge out of the way of Sam's little and tiny blade, but it is also then that Ritsuka(Kitsune) moves forward, starting to testfor Sam's defenses, a light smack to test him, to pressure him.
As he twists his blade to block that testing attack, Sam steps back a moment, and roughly applies a field bandage to his shoulder. He looks around, narrowing his eyes as he lowers into a boxer's stance, eyes narrowing towards Ritsuka(Kitsune). He does not in fact seem to be fighting to win. However, he also isn't going down whimpering.
Sighing, Lanaeis reaches to rub his face, but he's stopped by his helmet. "This is business between two factions. Come with me. I'll lead you to a mirror so you can leave."
Once more, Ritsuka(Kitsune) takes a few steps to the side, but this does not even look like she considers Sam to be a worthy challenge, By her stance, by her movement, it looks more like she is beating up an unruly child that is entirely beneath her. Clearly, the arrogance must be sarcastically awe-inspiring.
