(Sienna's bargaining)

In Town Hall Northern Meeting Room
It is about 50F(10C) degrees.
Julius makes his way in and approaches the rep. His first move is to offer a respectable firm hand shake before talking cordially, "I'm Julius Thompson, with the Temple and with The Shattered Veil." he leaves some space for a breath then goes on to say, "I'm here for the Veil today, we specialize in handling fae." he pauses then to glance over his shoulder to spot Sienna
Sienna inclines her head sharply toward Julius and other representatives from various societies angling for a word with the M16 representative. She strides forward, a sophisticated briefcase held within her hand, "You'll want to look no further than the offer we've prepared from the Hand. Who better than us over rookies who barely know what they're dealing with?" Her eyes flash toward Julius subtly, but her smile remains flawless.
Craning his chin left and right, Nikolai pops his neck with a series of satisfying clicks and snaps as he steps through the door, drinking in the scene. "Dobroye utro," he rumbles, his attention falling most squarely on the British agent. "I am Nikolai Kuznetsov, Interim President of the Hand. I have worked with your department before. Many other departments, too - ours is the Hand from which dangle the puppeteer's strings, da? You will find investing into already-existing infrastructure pays will net you much more information than you could get from amateur organisation."
He purses his lips at Sienna's own surmising of things, then turns his attention along to Julius. "You are not giving my intern trouble, are you?"
"Something tells me that you can sweet talk in circles around me." Julius says, with no ill-intent. He even gives Sienna a smile, as he apparently quickly concedes the game to Sienna and Nikolai. His attention shifts to Nikolai then to take a survey of him then he says, "No. I have no interest in troubling girls. That sounds like a Hand thing to be doing."
Sienna's lips curl into a sly, measured smile, eyes flicking between Julius and Nikolai with effortless grace. "I can't help it if words flow better than others, Julius. But it's all in good fun." She gives him a light, playful shrug, the weight of her gaze implying nothing but ease. When Nikolai's voice cuts through the room, deep and deliberate, she steps slightly to the side, aligning herself beside him like a seamless extension of the Hand's presence. She taps the latch on her briefcase lightly, the sound punctuating the air like the stroke of a clock. "Oh, no trouble at all," she assures Nikolai. "He was just offering to step aside, very graciouslym I might add."
Nikolai's lips thin even as the corners of his mouth tick up into an insincere smile at Julius, and then a glint of recognition enters his eyes as Sienna speaks the other man's name. "Oh," he says, clapping his hands together. "The Witch Hunter. Welcome to town. I think you will be having difficulties if you try to hunt the locals, da? Some of the best arcanists I have ever seen are living in town. That, and you can't really kill them under Sanctuary. Makes me wonder why you even move to Haven in first place."
Julius scratches his bearded cheek in an absent minded gesture as he explains to Sienna, almost apologetically for not providing competition. "This sort of thing has always been my weakness." he shifts his focus to Nikolai, setting his jaw when the man seems perfectly aware of who he is while the rugged man just met Nikolai. "You are right, I can't cure the disease but I can manage the symptoms to the best of my ability." he motions vaguely to the northwest where the rest of the town would be, "Like you said, some of the more powerful ones are here. Why should we ignore them?" though thats not exactly what Nikolai said, thats how the rugged man interpreted
