Patrollogs
(Kylia's syndicate bargain)
[Wed Dec 6 2023]
In Town Hall Southern Meeting Room
It is about 50F(10C) degrees.
"Well this is certainly a surprise," Sienna manages out under her breath as her vision swims, barely keeping upright with her eyes screwed shut, not that she'd be able to make anything out in the prevailing dark of a failed power grid. "...Is that you, Doctor Wilson?"
Kylia's eyebrows tick in mild surprise, "At least if they're targetting students they're less likely to nab us. Never seen them go for the unaware in this way." Before she goes on to warmly greet Sienna, "Hello, Miss Swann. Lovely to see you again." She says, as if she were greeting a friend rather than a kidnapping hostage-victim.
"Except you're entirely wrong in your ascertations, and I'm completely and utterly aware of the truth of the world. That's one lie my mother would never let me live with," Sienna twists her wrists slightly against the biting nip of zipties digging into the soft meat of her skin, flustered and dazed as her gaze struggles to fixate on the direction of the voices without much aid. "So what now?" she wonders, resigned to her fate, though a gleam of curiosity mixes with the apprehension of her unfocused gaze.
Sarah nods as she folds her arms, looking Sienna over, then speaking softly to Kylia as she inspects the tech maven, leaning in. "Hardly unaware. White Oak gives classes on the supernatural, and she is a Swann besides. This one likely knows more of the supernatural than either of us..." she trails off, looking aside to Kylia, "Where the Wilsons focus on monetary power, the Swanns focus on information, mostly." the scientist explains before reaching out a hand, grabbing Sienna by her hair. She tugs - softly, nowhere near hard enough to hurt - her head backwards, face inches away. "So what now indeed? What reward is there for my ownership of you? If any?"
