(Tabitha's bargaining)
[Fri Oct 25 2024]
In Town Hall Northern Meeting Room
It is about 55F(12C) degrees.
Tabitha walks within the representatives room, looking a little damp, and a little upset, to say the least. But once she is inside, she flips down her hood from the cardigan, fluffs out her hair, and puts on her best smile. She heads over to the Sentinel officer with her hand out. "Hello, I don't believe that you or I have ever met. I'm Tabitha Matheson. Formerly Those Seeking Redemption, and currently of Vengeance of Ubaste."
"I know I am probably not your typical customer. I am not in any of the big three societies. But I do know a thing or two about ghosts, and I have spent a lot of time trying to perfect a ritual that will settle them, and bring them to rest." Tabitha remarks, "Not all of them are exactly dangerous. They do not know, however, what it is they do. But it is always best to try to lay them to rest before they do become more of a hazard." She looks behind her at the sound of the door opening and closing. She offers Valerie a smile, less brilliant than the one she markedly put on for representative of The Sentinels. "hello," she greets.
Valerie strides into the room, rainwater streaking down the shoulders of her oversized sheriffs department jacket, the soaked fabric clinging to her arms. A few drops fall from the brim of her hood, scattering onto the floor as she adjusts her grip on the matte black composite briefcase she carries at her side. She offers Tabitha a curt nod, a gesture that's polite but dismissive in the moment, her attention locked on representative of The Sentinels the other woman is engaged with. "It is best to do business with those who you are familiar bedfellows with, no? I have prepared something of particular interest to operations I hear are underway."
Attention remains on Valerie, awaiting for the woman to greet her also, or to step up to the Representative, too, until Tabitha is addressed again, "Vengeance of Ubaste. Bastet. We are relatively new, yes, there is no denying that. But it is sometimes good to broaden your expanse of contacts... When seeking to find people to help, no?" She waits, and says, then, of Bastet: "She is a protector of women." She winks. "They need protection from Ghosts also, no?" She chuckles, but its dry, like a force, if anything, given the mood she'd had when she's walked in. "I've been a member of the Coven since I was a teenager, so I have quite a bit of knowledge beneath my belt."
Tabitha combs her hair, still damp, behind her ear, stepping to the side, then, to fold her hands before her, and to await the response of representative of The Sentinels. She asks Valerie, "And who are you representing, miss?"
"I'm Tabitha." Tabitha also adds.
