Occult
Levels: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
Requirements: Rank 2-5 requires Professional Focus 1-4.
This stat represents the contacts that any character may have who are either practitioners of the occult or deal with it on such a regular basis as that their occult knowledge is the most prominent benefit they offer the character. Such contacts may be anything from sorcerers and innately supernatural persons such as vampires or ghosts to paranormal investigators and mediums.
Occult Contacts 1
- You know someone who dabbles in the occult.
- OR
- You talk to random ghosts of no great importance.
Occult Contacts 2
- You have a friend who dabbles in the occult.
- OR
- You have developed a rapport with a ghost.
Occult Contacts 3
- You know someone who is routinely involved in the occult.
- OR
- You often speak with ghosts in passing.
Occult Contacts 4
- You know someone who is an expert in the occult.
- OR
- You have developed a rapport with several ghosts.
Occult Contacts 5
- You are friends with an expert in the occult.
- OR
- You have made contact with a powerful spirit.
Note:
- Not all deaths leave a ghost behind that can be spoken to or interacted with. Those that do are often fragmented pieces of the deceased's personality and memories fixated on particular aspects of their old life.
