Ryan "The Hair" Harris
Coming out of Orange County, California, Ryan Harris has traveled to Haven, Massachusetts at the behest of his rich parents. After spending quite a few years and majors in college, he finally graduated with a History degree (and his parent's name on a building) from Berkeley. After lounging around and being a Beach Bum in his parents house for too many years, they kicked him out and told him to make something of himself. Haven is his chance to find success.
The beginning of a bro
When he first arrived, he found himself aligned with The Order, having met Harriet Fairfax, who took him in and gave him a job as an Order Book Boy (Librarian), where he struggled to educate himself on the massive Archives of the Order, spending a lot of time digging through digital and physical records as he calls his fellow Librarians in the Order "Scrollers", mistaking the term "Scroll" for having to scroll through many PDFs of research.
Tragedy of Ignorance
Out of his depth, Ryan could barely keep his head above water, and when he was attempting to assist a Werewolf in being safe on the Full Moon, they got stuck in The Wilds through a Gate. After attempting a few times to come back through, Ryan tried to run back to town from quite a ways away, as the Gates had not been anchored. He ran into some Manticores who are far more dangerous than himself, and for it he was captured. His partial left arm is a reminder of the sacrifice he made to escape.
A renewed focus
Depressed and devastated by the loss of his arm, the loss of the Werewolf he was attempting to help, and weeks had passed since he had been lost, Ryan struggled with coming back to Haven, feeling lost and adrift as it seemed like the world had passed him by. He dove deeply into the Order Archives, looking for answers, focused on knowing more about the Supernatural so that he could help those who were ignorant as he once was.
Finding himself again
As the Summer fades to Fall and Winter, so has the journey of Ryan Harris fallen to the colder seasons. Still able to smile through the tragedy, he has found solace in the company of artists and musicians that have helped him cope with the new world he lives in. With his new friends he's trying to figure out who is in and where he belongs. He has spent his time with the Haven History Museum, trying to make it a destination landmark for the town.
Summer will come around
But not all is lost, and even in the darkness, a light can shine. Ryan keeps his hopes up, a smile on his face, and a fist for friends to bump. He is passionate about sharing knowledge to others to keep them safe from the Supernatural, and helping others avoid the pitfalls that he fell into. With his painted up Van and his surfer charm, Ryan looks to the future as he sees The Order's mission as: "Chill vibes, my dude. Peace between all the bros."
