Before Haven: Kitsune's past is as mysterious and enigmatic as they are. While they are supposedly from Japan, the rumors surrounding them range from suspiciously spot on to ludicrously ridiculous, anything from them being a spotter for the Syndicate to a sleeper agent from the Dynasty to a criminal mastermind with a deep network of spies. They do little to alleviate these rumors, and in fact, may even perpetuate them on occasion.
Since Arrival in Haven: Kitsune arrived with a splash, immediately getting to work within the Hand as if they had already been a member for decades. People certainly take notice when they are near, especially because of their outlandish manner of dressing. But even then, they have plans few even know.
Supernatural/Weirdness: Kitsune is the monster that goes bump in the night. In public, in social settings, and even while performing their duties at White Oak, they will be incredibly polite, even to their own detriment, in order to preserve their own reputation. But when the lights go down, they are also the ghostly glow of foxfrost and amber eyes that haunt even Hunters' nightmares.
