Demonborn Powers


Powers are one of the things that set supernatural bloodlines apart from mere humans; they are manifestations of either supernatural power in general or of the inherent strengths of a given bloodline. In general, powers are not restricted solely by tier -- what is accessible to a tier 3 demigod may be accessible to a tier 2 demonborn, or may perhaps only be available to certain subtypes of demigods. All the powers listed below have their own helpfile, but here is a short summary of each for quick reference. Powers that require specific non-demonborn foci that would still be available to demonborn are not listed.

[Demonborn Innates]:
You may only select one innate ability.
Demonic Cry: You can wail to deafen others around you.
Demonic Seduction: Attempts to resist any psychic pressures from you using lust are penalized.
Enrage: Attempts to resist any psychic pressures from you using anger are penalized.
Rage Fueled: You can enrage to both take and deal more damage in combat.

[Demonborn Tier One]:
Acute Hearing: Especially keen hearing. Can hear from more rooms away.
Acute Sight: Especially keen vision.
Acute Smell: Especially keen smell; can track others by scent.
Hypnotism: Level one hypnotism allows supernaturals to place people in a trance.
Obfuscate: Hides your supernatural aura; you will always appear human.
Pathing: The ability to use travel pathing to access rooms on roomlist.
Regeneration: Level one regeneration allows faster recovery from basic and severe wounds.

[Demonborn Tier Two]:
Hypnotism: Level two hypnotism allows infliction of amnesia and simple instructions.
Psychic Persuasion: The ability to subtly persuade others to do your bidding via psychic pressures.

[Demonborn Tier Three]:
Ageless: You become immortal and stop aging.
Branding: A semi-permanent means of marking your property or thralls that grants powers over them.
Hypnotism: Level three and four hypnotism allows body, triggered, and locked instructions.
Night Vision: The ability to see in darkness.
Regeneration: Demon Warrior 3: level three regeneration further enhances recovery time.

[Demonborn Tier Four]:
Demonic Metabolism: Demon Warrior 4; regen some defenses every combat round.
Electropathic: You can use electronics, such as your phone, psychically.
Super Jumping: The ability to jump far, land without harm, and close gaps in combat.

[Demonborn Combat Abilities]:
Biokinesis: Demon Warrior only; melee and defence enhancement.

[Demonborn Legendaries]:
Armored: Demidemon (T5) only; bonus natural armour and PC attacks do half damage.
Epic Strength: Strength 3+ AND Demon Warrior 3; doubles effective strength, adds melee stagger.
Hypernatural Regen: Demon Warrior 3; massive regeneration out of combat; heal even missing limbs and death.
