Welcome to Haven, a small, innocuous New England town near the coast and only a short commute from Boston. Nestled amongst the forests and not far from the coast the town is home to average townies and university students, but attracts its share of campers and boaters.

It also happens to be the weakpoint between worlds, where creatures of myth and folklore creep across. Drawing a large number of supernatural beings, it is protected and fought over by secret societies.

Clara's quiet evening on Hart Avenue takes an unexpected turn when she encounters a distressed boy clad in a parka. The boy is on the verge of tears, searching desperately for his cat stuck in a tree. Sensing his plight, Clara approaches cautiously, making sure to show her hands to signal she's friendly. Despite the freezing temperatures, she decides to help and asks the boy, who admits he doesn't know his parents' phone number. Clara reassures him, promising to retrieve his cat and ensure he returns home safely. They find the orange cat perched nonchalantly on a branch of a frighteningly lifeless tree. Clara bravely scales the tree with surprising ease, reaching the branch where the cat sits. After a failed attempt to coax the cat, the feline jumps down and the boy, overjoyed, reunites with his pet, naming it Tomas.

The boy thanks Clara profusely, calling her his hero, and suggests he can get home on his own. Refusing to leave her job half-done, Clara insists on accompanying him home to ensure no more mishaps occur. They arrive at a trailer where Tomas quickly escapes through a pet door to safety. The boy introduces himself as Robert, but allows Clara to call him Bob. Parting ways, Clara encourages Bob to take care of his cat and focus on his studies, hinting at the connection between diligence and bravery. Bob beams a grateful smile, bids farewell, and disappears into his home, leaving Clara alone to reflect on the night's adventure as she heads back to the warmth of her hotel room.

In the chaos of a fraught New York warehouse, an elite team is on a mission to extract a critical hard drive amid the supernatural conflict tearing through the city. Kylia, the sniper, assembles her weapon, a symbol of the group's preparedness as they strategize to steal valuable information while a private military company, ordered to incinerate the servers, looms as an imminent threat. Amidst the disarray, Annie successfully secures the hard drive, but as bullets fly and allies like Carmine and Ethan rally, the battleground morphs into a deadly game of cat and mouse, with woodworking benches and containers providing scarce cover against a hail of gunfire and the elemental wrath of Luna's icy blue-flamed arrows.

The battle rages intensively; Harriet charges with determination, Ryan and Cailyn fall under the relentless assault, and blind stabs in the smoke add to the confusion. Luna's cheerful demeanor contrasts the charged atmosphere as she dodges and fires. In time, Harriet's efforts fade, and the Templar forces under Ethan's command turn the tide, pushing the mercenaries to retreat. As the action reaches its climax, Kylia’s final stand behind a forklift is met with a resolute offensive—Annie, presumably feeling the weight of the objective, fires mistakenly at her own commander. Ethan, showing steadiness in the face of accidental friendly fire, leads the group to a successful extraction, with the precious data in tow. Despite minor mishaps, the Temple's team, bonded by camaraderie and clear directives, emerges victorious, securing the hard drive and inching closer to their grand designs within the city's supernatural struggle.

In the middle of a tempest, Deacon ventures into the heart of a raging storm on a clandestine mission. The deluge intensifies as he navigates deeper into the woods, his trusted compass in hand guiding him through the treacherous gates that permeate his town. As he pushes through the torrent, the rain abruptly ceases, revealing a peculiar calm at the eye of the storm. Therein lies a mysterious rock inscribed with an indecipherable rune, which seems to exude an intense magnetic force, repelling Deacon with an invisible energy. His military instincts kick in as he sets up his Barrett M82 rifle, calculating the possible interference from the bizarre wind patterns around him.

As Deacon prepares to take a shot at the rock, a black-clad figure on an orange dirtbike emerges from the storm's veil. Instead of shooting the rock, Deacon redirects his aim toward the newcomer, piercing the man's chest with a high-caliber round. Astoundingly, the man survives and approaches Deacon, revealing the stone to be a binding agent for the storm. A tense standoff ensues, and Deacon fires again, yet the man evades and repositions himself near the rock, shrinking it to a handheld size and offering it to Deacon. Despite their tense encounter, they reach an understanding. The enigmatic man retreats, leaving behind the storm and the rock with Deacon, who is charged with the responsibility of discarding it to finally quell the unnatural storm afflicting his town.
